Assembly( For all nut and bolt fastening, always use a washer (# and #) between the tube and bolt or the tube and nut). Step : Attach the front and rear upright supports (# and #) at the top by using bolts (#), washers (#) and plastic nuts (#). Repeat the procedure for the other side. Do not tighten plastic nuts and bolts yet. See Fig. A - Step. Step : Attach the top cross beam w/adjustable teeth (#) to both ends of the upright supports (# and #). See Fig. A - Step. Step : Fasten the lateral cross braces (#) to the upright supports (# and #) by using bolts (#), washers (#) and plastic nuts (#). See Fig. A - Step. Step Do not tighten bolts after Step. Fasten all bolts after Fig A. Step 5 Step Step 5 Step 0 Step : Fasten the rear cross brace (#5) to the rear upright supports (#) by using bolts (#), washers (#) and plastic nuts (#). Insert the leg caps (#5) to all base feet. Tighten the plastic nuts and bolts now. See Fig. A - Step and Step 5. Step : Fasten another seat and back support brace (#) to the back of two seat assemblies (#) by using bolts (#) and washers (#). See Fig. C. Make sure the two arcs of the seat and back support brace (#) should be facing outside. 0 0 Fig. C Step : Insert the left and right swing arms (# and #) into the seat and back support braces (#). Fasten them by using bolts (#) and washers (#). See Fig. D and Fig. E. R L The labels marked L and R on the swing arms (# and #) should coincide with Fig. D to ensure proper assembly. Fig. D 0 Fig. E 0 Step : Fasten the swing arm tubes (#0) to the front hole of the swing arms (# and #) by using bolts (#), washers (#) and plastic nuts (#). Then fasten the swing arm tubes (#0) to the back of the swing arms (# and #) by using bolts (#), washers (#) and plastic nuts (#). See Fig. F. Fig. F PAGE OF 0 0 0 0 0 0
Step : Hook the suspension spring (#) to the top of the swing arm tubes (#0) and do the same for the other side. See Fig. G. 0 0 0 0 Fig. G Step 0: Hang the other side of suspension spring (#) into the hole of each side on the angled braces of the top cross beam w/adjustable teeth (#). Do the same for the other side. See Fig. H. Warning: Make sure that both ends of the suspension springs (#) go completely through the holes in the angled braces on the top cross beam w/adjustable teeth (#) and the swing arm tubes (#0). Fig. H Step : Slide the canopy/frame connectors (#) into the canopy (#). Fasten them together by using screws (#5) in the pre-drilled holes. Make sure that the teeth of the canopy/frame connectors are facing toward the inside of the frame. See Fig. I - Step and Step. Step Step 5 5 Fig. I PAGE 5 OF
Step : Attach and fasten the canopy assembly onto the adjustable teeth on top cross beam w/adjustable teeth (#) with plastic screws (#) to each side of canopy/frame connectors (#). See Fig. J and Fig. K. Fig. J Step : To assure stability, double check that all of the bolts have been completely tightened and cover them with bolt caps (#0 and #). To avoid danger of suffocation, always keep plastic bags or small parts away from babies and children. Fig. K Cleaning and Maintenance Wash frame and fabric parts with mild soap and water, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely. Do not use bleach, acid, or other solvents on the frame or fabric parts. The canopy may be surface washed with mild soap and water if necessary. Commercial foaming upholstery cleaner may also be used. Rinse well and hang to dry. Do not machine wash or dry. We recommend the use of furniture covers to protect your swing when not in use. Inspect and tighten all bolts and fasteners on a regular basis to ensure the proper performance and safety of your swing. In order to prolong the life and beauty of your swing, we recommend that it be stored in a dry and protected area during off season periods. Special Warnings The user of this swing should always inspect it before each use. It is essential to place this swing on level ground and not less than six feet from any obstruction, such as fences, garages, houses, overhanging branches, laundry lines, or electrical wires. Check the tightness of all nuts and bolts on a regular basis. Always remove the canopy in heavy wind conditions, otherwise the canopy may tip over and cause damage to its parts. Oil all of the metal parts that move regularly. The manufacturer will not accept responsibility for unauthorized repairs or modifications to the swing or its parts. Weight limit is 500lbs. Warranty This product is covered by Courtyard Creations Inc. One year limited warranty. Proof of purchase (dated register receipt) is required for warranty claims. It remains the customer s responsibility for freight and packing charges to and from over service center. Missing A Part?
