We will meet the 1st Saturday (or the Wednesday before) for 6 months. It is called a mystery because you do not know what the finished quilt will look like until after you sew it together! You sign up for the class ($25.00) and receive the fabric requirements, cutting instructions, and step 1 of the sewing instructions. Come to class each month to receive the next "clue". It is fun to see quilts made from the same pattern in different fabrics! 1 st Saturday Late Night Sew: 5:00 Midnight Every 1 st Saturday we have a late night sew event. You bring your own projects to work on. On the 1 st Saturday Jackie orders something for dinner. Cost is $15.00 2 nd Saturday (or the Wednesday before): 9:30 10:30 NEW!! Baskets of Scraps Block of the Month, 9- month project. The cost to sign up is $25.00. You will need to purchase your background fabric and pay $2.50 each month the fabric kit for that month s block. Watch for something new in this time slot in the spring. 3 rd Saturday Late Night Sew: 5:00 - Midnight Every 3 rd Saturday we stay and sew late into the night. Bring a project to work on and a potluck dish to share. The cost is $10.00 Note: Often the in-store retreat falls on the 3 rd Saturday, in which case there will not be a late night sew. Check the calendar on the website for details. Twilight Song 4 th Saturday of the Month: 11:00 12:00 (Also on the 4 th Friday of the month) Marti Michell Club. Marti Michell templates and rulers are designed to make cutting and piecing of quilts easy and precise. The templates corners are trimmed, so that there are no dog-ears when piecing, and pieces go together easily no guessing! In this monthly club a tool and pattern from Marti Michell is demonstrated. There is no obligation to purchase anything, however, if you choose to buy the pattern or tool you will receive a 10% discount. The cost to join the club is $25.00 for the year. MONDAYS: 1 st Monday of the Month: 10:30 6:00 Buggy Barn Day Select any Buggy Barn pattern (there are many to choose from!) and join Sonje Jessen for this all day class. She will walk you through the Buggy Barn process. Whether you are a seasoned quilter, or new to the craft you are sure to have a good time and learn something new. Cost is $40.00 for first time students, $25.00 for repeat students. 3 rd Monday of the Month: 1:00 3:00 Table Runner Club Join Jackie each month to create a new table runner for your home. TUESDAYS: Tuesdays 10:00 1:00 Sprinkled with Love NEW!! Sprinkled with Love has 6 delightful watering cans each with its own theme and made out of Kimberbell Basics fabric from Maywood Studio. The Flower Pot Border compliments the quilt nicely and is easy to do with fusible applique Finished Quilt is 70 x 58". We will meet on 8 Tuesdays, mostly every other Tuesday beginning 1/16/18. Cost is $80.00 Every Tuesday: 5:00 10:00 pm Open Sew Bring a project to work on and there is help if you need Sprinkled with Love it. Sometimes we order something for dinner, or you can bring your own. This group is a fun way to spend time with other quilters and get your projects done. The cost is $10.00 per session. WEDNESDAYS: 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month: 1:00 2:30 Hand Embroidery Club This club meets the first and third Wednesday of each month. Debbie Benewich is the leader and is there to help you with your projects, as well as teach you new tricks for coloring and stitching your embroidery. The cost is $10.00 per session. 4th Wednesday of each month 1:00 3:00 Mystical Prism Block of the month. This is continuing on from 2017. Last Wednesday of the Month: Drop in all day Redstone Hospice Charity Sew Come join in our fun and rewarding quilt group! We d love to have YOU come support a lap quilt project. This project benefits the palliative and hospice patients at UCHealth/Poudre Valley Hospital. Each Palliative Care patient will be covered with a beautiful quilt donated by our group. Each quilt will be used as a precious memento for the family after the patient has reached the end of their life. Here is a way for you to make a good use of your stash fabrics. You will add a ray of sunshine to a gloomy time for the recipients. Bring your stash scraps and join us. We look forward to seeing you there. New for 2018 True love stories never end...the Legendary Loves block of the month, designed by Denice Lipscomb, is a 12 month program celebrating love. Along with detailed instructions for a block of the quilt, each month will include a story of a couple that found deep and abiding love with one another. From Odysseus and Penelope to the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, each of these couples will touch your heart in a special way. Cost is $25.00 plus quilt kit. Finished size is 97 X 103. Legendary Loves BOM 4 th Thursday of each month: 1:00 3:00 Bristle Creek Farmhouse Block of the Month. The prints in Paula Barnes new collection; Bristle Creek Farmhouse, were inspired by a quilt top she discovered along with Mary Ellen Robison in a Florida antique shop. Both traditional and triangle paper methods are used to create their quilt design, and to simplify the construction process, Red Crinoline Quilts again teams with Liz Eagan of Spinning Star Designs. 12-Month Program begins January 2018.
