A few important pointers before you start: Please read the instructions right through before you start, and check that all the components have been included in the pack; we find separating all the hardware into piles makes it easier to be sure that everything is present and correct. Make sure you have the right tools. Allen keys are provided if required, but screw drivers and other tools are not. You ll find details of the tools you need at the beginning of the instructions. It s a good idea to build the unit in the room where you are going to be using it, to avoid the need to move it after it s been assembled. Do not throw away any packing materials until assembly is complete, just in case you accidentally discard smaller parts and hardware. Safety Warnings: Anti-tip furniture straps are recommended for use on the Northcote range. Antitip furniture straps (G5323) are available from gltc.co.uk. It is recommended that the Northcote modular storage furniture is only stacked 3 units high, inclusive of the base unit..g. 1 x ase unit + 2 x Shelf units. Adult assembly required. Assemble and use on a flat surface. HOKING HAZARD This product contains small parts and must be assembled by an adult. Special care should be taken in the unpacking and assembly of this item as unassembled parts may be a choking hazard to children under 3 years old. During assembly, children should be kept away from the product due to possible risk of injury. Do not use power tools in the construction of this product. This product is heavy, so we recommend that you build it where you are planning to use it. All assembly fastenings should be tightened properly and periodically checked; care should be taken that no fittings are loose. Assembly #2 #3 #1 A STP 1: nsure that each cam lock s arrow is pointing towards the drill hole on the side edge of the component. Hardware for Step 1: 8x #1 am Dowels 8x #3 Wooden Dowels Lay the 2x side panels () on a clean flat surface with the drill holes and groove facing up, in the position shown. Insert 4x wooden dowels (#3) into the drill holes in the four corners of OTH side panels (). nsure they are pushed in as far as they will go. Insert 4x cam dowels (#1) into the drill holes next to the wooden dowels on OTH side panels (), tighten with a screwdriver. N: Wooden dowels should fit snuggly and push in with your fingers. Do not use force or a hammer as the wood may split. Hardware for Step 2: 8x #2 am Locks STP 2: Take the Unit Top (A) and Unit ase () and place them on a clean flat surface with the drill holes facing up. Insert the 8x cam locks (#2) into the drill holes. nsure that each cam lock s arrow is pointing towards the drill hole on the side edge of the component. 4
A left left When in position, turn the 2x cam locks (#2) on the unit base () clockwise to lock in place. STP 3: Position unit base () over the left-hand side panel () as shown, so that the recessed grooves on each panel are aligned. Guide the unit base () over the cam dowels and wooden dowels onto the lower edge of the side panel () and into the drill holes on the edge of the panel. When in position, push down firmly and secure by tightening 2x cam locks (#2) by turning clockwise, at the point of connection between the two panels. STP 4: Position the unit top (A) over the shaped top edge of the side panel () as shown, and so the recessed groove lines up on both panels. Guide the unit top (A) over the cam dowels and wooden dowels, into the drill holes on the edge of the panel. When in position, push down firmly and secure by tightening the 2x cam locks (#2) on unit top (A). When in position, turn the 2x cam locks (#2) on the unit top (A) clockwise to lock in place. 5
A F STP 5: Insert the divider panel (F) between the top panel (A) and base panel () as shown, ensuring that the protrusions on the divider panel are sitting securely in the corresponding recesses of the top and base panels. STP 6: Gently, slide the 2x back panels () into the recessed groove of the top panel (A) and base panel (), ensuring it is pushed all the way in to the groove on the side panel (). 6
Hardware for Step 8: 8x #9 Shelf Pegs When in position, turn the four remaining cam locks (#2) on the base & top panels clockwise to lock in place. A #9 STP 7: Position the remaining side panel () over the unit. Guide the cam dowels and wooden dowels on the side panel into the drill holes on the edges of the top panel (A) and base panel (). Once firmly in place, turn the 2x remaining cam locks (#2) on the base panel () clockwise until they lock. Then turn the 2x remaining cam locks (#2) on the top panel (A)clockwise until they lock. STP 8: Turn the unit up the right way and insert the shelf pegs (#9) into the drill holes on each side of the divider unit at the required shelf height. N: 4x shelf pegs (#9) are needed to secure each shelf into position. 7

Secure in place with 4x round head screws (#5). Hardware for Step 9: 2x #4 Magnetic Door atch 4x #5 Round Head Screws STP 10: Lay both of the door panels (G) on a clean flat surface with the small drill holes facing up. Using the drill holes, attach the metal plate (#6) to the top of AH door using 2x flat head screws (#8) on each plate. Attach 2x hinges (#7) to AH door into the recesses on the edges of the door panels, using 2x flat head screws (#8) for each hinge. nsure the hinges are attached as per the position shown. 4x #7 Door Hinge 2x #6 Metal Plate 12x #8 Flat Head Screws 8
Hardware for Step 11: screw 8x 16mmL #8 Flat Head Screws D D G STP 12: Position the 2x shelf panels (D) over the shelf pegs (#9) and press down firmly so that they are securely in place. G #7 #8 STP 11: Hang the cupboard doors. (Please note, to attach the doors you may find it easier to position the unit on its side.) Using 2x flat head screws (#8) for AH of the hinges, secure the door to the inside of the unit. There are drill holes to guide you on the sides panels (). Once secured, repeat this step to secure the second door using 2x flat head screws (#8) for AH hinge. 9 Your unit is now ready to use.
