Very small sand spillage since the moulding sand can be exactly predosed by the filling frame. No vibratory shock is caused within the machine area because no vibrations are used (simple foundations). Excellent service provided by HWS worldwide. And last but not least...... a Moulding Machine 100% made in Germany.
MoDERn MoUlDInG TEcHnoloGY for better environmental conditions, high moulding quality and improved cost efficiency. Until now two machines and operators were necessary to produce a complete mould by means of the conventional jolt-squeezing. The working environment was noisy and dusty, quality and quantity of the moulds were restricted. This situation gave HWS the initiative to develop the SEIATSU Airflow Squeeze Moulding Machine HSP. Conventional Jolting Squeeze Machines The advantages: Enhanced moulding quality The airflow directs the moulding sand to places of difficult accessability around the pattern and compacts it cleanly and with contour sharpness. By means of the additional hydraulic squeezing and a second airflow during the hydraulic compaction a homogeneous mould strength with characteristics of a high-quality sand mould is created. The advantages: Higher cost efficiency With the same mould output one HSP machine with only one machine operator replaces two jolt squeeze moulding machines with two machine operators because the HSP machine produces cope and drag alternating in more one moulding machine. Each machine has two tables which turn alternately between the mould sand filling station in front of the machine and the mould compacting station inside and vice versa.thus cope and drag moulds are alternately produced. All manual operations, such as transport of the moulding boxes, sand filling etc. are carried out in the station in front of the mouldiing machin whilst the second mould is produced in the compacting station. comparison of Weight and Dimensional Accuracy between SEIATSU and Jolt-Squeeze High Dimensional Accuracy The moulds produced by SEIATSU Air Flow Squeeze Moulding Process (without jolt) are maintaining uniform density and high strength so that the castings produced in SEIATSU moulds can offer a very high fidelity to the patterns. As the variation of dimensions of castings is quiet small, it is possible to produce thinner and lighter castings with high reproducability. Level-time signal of a jolt squeeze moulding machine Better environmental conditions The noise emission of a HSP moulding machine is max. 85 db (A). This enables a better communication among the operators and reduces the risk of hearing impairment. The components: Hydraulic unit The hydraulic equipment of the HSP machine consists of a variable capacity pump and of control valves. It is installed within the machine frame. In the lower part of the frame serves as a reservoir for the hydraulic oil. The hydraulic valves can be exchanged without dismantling the pipework. control system The electronic equipment for controlling the machine is freely programmable. Here, HWS trusts in the proven Siemens S7 technology. The PLC is located in a control box at the machine frame. A separate operator panel allows individual, pattern related parameter input. Pattern device Fine sand slinger: HWS supplies (optionally) a fine sand slinger for the production of castings with high-quality surfaces. A predosed sand quantity is applied onto the pattern contour by means of a roll brush. The fine sand slinger replaces the time-consuming manual sieving of facing sand. The moulding sand processed by the fine sand slinger is also used as filling sand. No special sand is required. The pattern plates are mounted onto a pattern bolster. Each pattern bolster is provided with a vented collar which runs along the inner walls of the moulding box and takes care of the exhaust air passing through the sand, producing a good peripheral compaction of each mould. The opening cross section of the vents is calculated in such a way that most patterns do not require additional vents in the pattern plate itself. Coarse sand Roll brush Fine sand
