Personal Dream Sheet for Today s Date How to Live the Life of Your Dreams Through Setting Goals Hello! Are you ready to live the life that up until now you have only dreamed of? Are there things that you seriously want to achieve in life but are just not sure how to get there? Then welcome. You are in the right place. By simply following the steps below, there is a very good chance you will get there. The exercises here are not difficult. You can do these. We ask that you follow every step and take them seriously. Believe in them. Believe that your life will change. Many people before you have succeeded with this. Now it is YOUR turn! Remember follow every step! Good luck. Step 1. Time to start dreaming! If you could live your perfect life, what would you be doing right now? Where would you be? Who would you be with? This is the place to start jotting down notes. They do not have to be in any order. Simply write down bullet points regarding YOUR dream life. Assume money and outside influences will not get in the way. Write down your dreams here!
As you dream, it would be helpful to answer the following questions: On a scale from 1-10, how happy are you now? Identify the time in your life when you were the absolute happiest. If it was in the past, what was it that made you so happy then? If you could, would you go back there now? Could you replicate that time period now? Congratulations on your dream life above! It sounds wonderful. And the interesting thing is that there is actually a way for you to achieve this. It may not be overnight, but if we work towards your dream together, it may just become reality for you. So from this point on, make a promise to yourself that you will NEVER again say that you cannot live your dream life. Because if you believe it won t work, it won t! Step 2. Now is the time to list any perceived barriers to living your dream life. Go ahead. Please jot down in the space below the things that you believe are preventing you from reaching your dreams that you listed in Step 1 above. Write them ALL down. Use the opposite side of this sheet if you need to.
Nice job! Sure, you have some hurdles and some things to work on, but as you will see, if we deal with these systematically, they won t look so daunting! Step 3 will help you see all of this a bit more clearly. Step 3. Let s please take each challenge above and come up with a way to overcome it. This is a VERY important step and should not be taken lightly. Please take as much time as you need on this one. Example: If you said you do not have enough money for a dream house you listed in Step 1, this is the time you need to figure out how to bring in more money. Does it mean a different job with higher pay? Does it mean starting your own business? Living below your means and saving more money? Investing smarter? Another example: If you would like to relocate but you believe something is keeping you where you are (family, your job, kids school), you will need to figure out why you believe you are stuck where you are and how you can get unstuck! Go ahead and come up with ways to overcome your challenges here. And always feel free to write on the back or use an additional sheet of paper.
Good job. And remember, you can come back to this as often as you like and modify it. For that matter, you can modify anything here at any time! Step 4. Now is the time to come up with some definite goals. A goal is different than a dream. Sure, you jotted down a bunch of dreams in Part 1. Now it is time to take your absolute favorites (the ones that are most important to you) and turn them into goals. Here is what that means. Let s say you have a dream of being wealthy. Well that s cool, but please keep in mind that money does not necessarily bring happiness. Happiness comes from the inside. But using money is an easy example to help you comprehend goals, so let s go with it. So what exactly does wealthy mean? You need to turn that into a goal that is clearly defined. An example would be By December 31, 2019 I will have a net worth of $500,000. The example is totally made up and for illustration purposes only. But that is a goal. Hopefully it makes sense! OK, please take some of your dreams above and turn them into definite goals in the space below. For now we recommend no more than five goals. You can always come back at a later time and add more and edit what you have.
Nice job. Now believe it or not, you have just completed the most difficult part. Dreaming, coming up with perceived barriers, thinking about how to overcome them and setting goals are the most important steps to reaching your dream life. Now your only remaining job is to read this entire worksheet every day. Seriously. By every day we mean never missing a single day, no matter what. Carry it with you everywhere you go. Read it every single day! How does it work? We are not entirely sure. It simply works. It has been proven that when you want something badly enough and if you ask the universe for it repeatedly, you will receive it. There have been documentaries made as well as books written on this exact topic. You must believe this is real. If you have doubts or if you think this is something that only works for others, you might as well stop now. But if you choose to continue, remember that you very well may get what you ask for.
