MANUAL OVERRIDE Non-clutch design, override can be operated without engaging or dis-engaging a clutch. Manual override remains stationary while motor is running POSITION INDICATOR All models have a high visibility indicator on top of the actuator cover. HEATER All models have a Heater and Thermostat. SWITCHES: All models have four colour coded switches. Two for travel adjustment, and two for auxiliary switches. OPTIONAL FEATURES MODULATING CONTROL BOARD The input and output signals can be selected by adjusting the DIP switches on the control board. Input Selection - 4-20MA, 1-5V, 2-10V Output Selection - 2-10V, 4-20MA V fail position can be selected by adjusting the dip switches on the control board to fail on loss of signal to: (A) FAIL CLOSE (B) FAIL OPEN (C) FAIL IN LAST PLACE TORQUE SWITCHES: Adjustable cam activated torque switches to provide over-load protection. FEEDBACK POTENTIOMETER: 1K or 5K OHM feedback signal. CURRENT POSITION TRANSMITTER: 4-20MA output signal for position indication LOCAL CONTROL UNIT: Local/Remote selection switches, OPEN/OFF/CLOSE selection. VOLTAGE OPTIONS Actuators are available in various voltages: 12 and 24VDC 12 and 24VAC 220 AC Single Phase 220, 380 and 440 VAC 3 Phase.

OME-115 TRAVEL CAM AND LIMIT SWITCH ADJUSTMENT OM1 THE TRAVEL CAMS ARE SET TO CONTROL THE OPEN AND CLOSED POSITION OF THE VALVE. THE POSITION IS SET TO STOP THE TRAVEL OF THE ACTUATOR WHEN THE TRAVEL CAMS ACTIVATE THE LIMIT SWITCH. STANDARD IS TWO LIMIT SWITCHES, ONE FOR OPEN, ONE FOR CLOSED. THE BOTTOM LIMIT SWITCH IS NORMALLY THE OPEN POSITION (FULL CCW). THE TOP LIMIT SWITCH IS NORMALLY THE CLOSED POSITION (FULL CW). 2-AUXILIARY SWITCHES ARE STANDARD AND ARE SET INDEPENDENT OF THE TWO PRIMARY CONTROL LIMIT SWITCHES. THE TRAVEL CAMS CAN BE ADJUSTED BY 2.5mm HEX SPANNER. Counter-clockwise decrease opening degree.

OME-116 TRAVEL CAM AND LIMIT SWITCH ADJUSTMENT OM2-OM12 THE TRAVEL CAMS ARE SET TO CONTROL THE OPEN AND CLOSED POSITION OF THE VALVE. THE TOP LIMIT SWITCH IS NORMALLY THE CLOSED POSITION (FULL CW). 2-AUXILIARY SWITCHES ARE STANDARD AND ARE SET INDEPENDENT OF THE TWO PRIMARY CONTROL LIMIT SWITCHES. THE TRAVEL CAMS CAN BE ADJUSTED BY 2.5mm HEX SPANNER.

The sensitivity decreases 7 times movement by sectors from SW 1 to SW 2, SW2 to SW 3,SW 3 to SW 4 and so on. SETTINGS FOR OPEN AND CLOSE ( FOR 0M 2 - OM 13 ) The settings are set in factory, though in some cases re-set may be requred when a particular rate of signal is requested OPEN SETTING a) Keep pressing SET for 2 seconds, until LED 9 comes on, it will enter the manual mode. b) Keep pressing UP and let the actuator run to fully-open position, LED 2 comes on, then apply input signal ( 5V or 10V or 20mA) c) Press MODE once. The OPEN setting is complete. CLOSE SETTING a) Keep pressing DOWN let the actuator run to fully-closed position, LED 1 comes on, then apply input signal ( 1V or 2V or 4mA). b) Press MODE once. When actuator is fully-open, LED2 comes ON. When you open the power of the actuator, LED3 comes ON. When the wrong power supply is applied to the actuator, LED4 comes ON. When the wrong signal type is applied to the actuator, LED5 comes ON. When the motor thermostat opens (over-heating), LED6 comes ON. When the output signal is short-circuited, LED7 comes ON. When the motor current is excessive, LED8 comes ON. When the actuator is operated manually, LED9 comes ON If the LED is flashing after the operating check is complete, refer to the following. LED 6 Motor thermostat turned off. Too high frequency for rated duty cycle. LED 7 Output signal short circuit a) Confirm the wiring of output signal # 11(-)-#12 (+). b) Whether # 11 & # 12 output signal short circuit LED 2, LED 7 Incorrect wiring for 2-10V output signal. Confirm the wiring of output signal # 6 (-) - # 7 (+). LED 8 Motor current is excessive. Too high frequency for rated duty cycle. LED 9 Manual mode- Setting position for open & close. After completing the settings, press SET once.

OME-124 TROUBLESHOOTING ON-OFF CONTROLLER MOTOR DOES NOT OPERATE AND OVERHEATS POSSIBLILITIES Supply power for # 3 - # 4 simultaneously ( Parallel Connection) The capacitor failed. (Check to see if the surface of the capacitor is deformed) V s seat is depressed ( v has been set at fully closed position for a long period) Check if any foreign objects in flow stream Broken motor stem or bearing SOLUTION Check the wiring Replace with new part Use hand - wheel for test or replace v seat Check for obstructions Replace with new parts THE ACTUATOR IS OPERATING BUT MOTOR IS HOT POSSIBLILITIES Starting the actuator too frequently. ( too high frequency for rated duty cycle) Overload Under or over requested voltage. SOLUTION Change system bandwidth or replace to a higher duty cycle actuator. This situation often happens after operating for a long time. It is suggested to replace the v. Check the supply circuit. The gear jams the mechanical stops in fully-open or closed position. OPERATING TWO OR MORE ACTUATORS SIMULTANEOUSLY. THE ACTUATOR WORKS ABNORMALLY SOMETIMES AND THE MOTOR IS HOT POSSIBLILITIES Parallel connection THE VALVE CAN T FULLY OPEN OR CLOSE DURING TEST BY EITHER POWER SUPPLY OR HAND-WHEEL POSSIBLILITIES Check for flange misalignment. CAN T OPERATE BY MODULATING CONTROLLER POSSIBLILITIES a) Fault VR b) The sector gear of the VR is loose. SOLUTION a) Replace a new VR. b) Switching the dip switches #7 to OFF, # 8 to ON and remove the input signal. The actuator will operate to fully close then set the sector gear again. Put all the parts back after all adjustment and setting
