USER GUIDE JOINING PLAYSIGHT ON THE KIOSK On the SmartCourt kiosk, simply click the JOIN button located in the top left corner and input your personal information (and a six character password of your choice). Track your activity online playsight.com Make sure you set your password to something that you will remember each time you step on a SmartCourt. Once you enter all of your information and click JOIN, you will be able to enjoy all of the features that come with our SmartCourt technology! ONLINE AT PLAYSIGHT.COM Online at PlaySight.com, simply click SIGN UP in the top right of the home page menu bar. You will then be prompted to enter your personal information - make sure to click to sign up for the PlaySight newsletter, as you will then get access to monthly tips, new training videos, and ways to get the most out of your PlaySight account and the SmartCourt experience. Once you are a PlaySight member, you will be able to LOG IN to your PlaySight account by clicking in the top right of the home page menu bar any time you visit PlaySight.com. THE PLAYSIGHT APP To download the free PlaySight App, search PLAYSIGHT in either the App Store or the Google Play Store. The PlaySight App is available for both ios and Android devices. You will then be prompted to enter your personal information - enter your name, email, and select a six character password. Make sure to also fill in your date of birth, your handedness (right or left), and your gender. Click SIGN UP and you are good to go! Signing up for PlaySight on any of the platforms will automatically allow you to log in anywhere. We recommend signing up online before playing on court as it is a quicker process.

PLAYING ON A OVERVIEW On the SmartCourt kiosk screen, you will be given three options - SINGLES, DOUBLES, and GROUPS. Once you click the SINGLES button, you will need to log in (at least one player). If you are playing with a guest, make sure you input their handedness (right or left) so that the system will provide them with accurate statistics and shot tracking. Once you are logged in, you will be given more options. SINGLES MODE 1. Select WARM UP to get out and hit with no specific goal or target 2. Select DRILLS for gamified tennis training - train with time, zone, and stroke targets 3. Select SERVE AND RETURN to work on serves and return strokes 4. Select PLAY POINTS to start a match or tournament 5. Select VIDEO ONLY for just the video recording and no statistics or analytic tracking 6. Select PREVIOUS SESSIONS to review previous sessions from that Smart Court Always be sure to select SWITCH SIDES when you and your opponent switch sides - this way all of the stats tracked will be accurate for each player.

PLAY POINTS Once you click the PLAY POINTS button, you will be given two options - MATCH or TOURAMENT. There are a few key differences between these two modes. At any time you can always hit BACK to return to the previous screen, or LOG OUT to return to the kiosk home screen Utilize the REPLAY button to review or challenge close calls. This feature is available for both matches and tournaments. Call lines with confidence knowing that the video is there to support you. MATCH MODE When you click on MATCH mode, below is the screen that appears on the kiosk. Real time serve speed and distance covered are tracked. You will notice options to mute sound (both line calls and serve speed), as well as the option to ANALYZE, return to MODES, or REPLAY. You can also toggle between real-time statistics on the MATCH screen. Make sure not to hit ANALYZE or MODES until your match is complete. Utilize REPLAY to review and challenge close calls. TOURNAMENT MODE When you click on TOURNAMENT mode, this is the screen (above) that appears on the kiosk. This mode is ITF certified and displays no real-time stats or analytics. All of your data is analyzed and uploaded to your PlaySight account, but none of it appears on the kiosk. Make sure to select SWITCH SIDES in order to capture accurate statistics! Make sure not to hit ANALYZE or MODES until your match or tournament is complete.

WARM-UP MODE his is a great mode for warm ups or if you just want to get out onto a Smart Court and hit. All shots will be tagged, video will be recorded, and stats will be generated, but there is no specific goal, time limit, or stroke number to reach. While in WARM-UP mode, all strokes within the court will be counted. Make sure to hit SWITCH SIDES on this mode to ensure that the statistics tracked for each player are accurate. You can also toggle through different real-time statistics with the side arrows on the screen. DRILLS MODE The Smart Court system will automatically set up drills for you and your opponent based on your handedness (righty to righty crosscourt forehands, for example). Once you have selected your DRILL, the next screen that comes up gives you the option to customize the difficulty. EASY will count any strokes that land in the court (as you can see with the blue outline). MEDIUM will count any stroke that lands past the SERVICE LINE (as you can see with the yellow box). HARD will count any stroke that lands in the DEEP ZONE (as you can see with the red box). This is why PlaySight is such a great training tool - regardless of your skill level or playing ability, you can set up a drill that is both challenging and fun. The next screen will give you the option to have the drill HEAD-TO-HEAD or TEAM WORK focused. Head-to-head will reward one player as the winner at the end of the drill, while with team work the two players will work together to accomplish the drill.

DRILLS MODE And once you have decided on team work or head-tohead for your SmartCourt drill, the customization options continue. You can select different goals for each drill on this screen. You can, as always, select BACK to change anything you want before proceeding with the drill. Time The first SmartCourt drill goal is to select a time target. Stroke The next SmartCourt drill goal is to select a stroke target. For quick drills, it is ideal to start with 10-15 (especially if the difficulty is set to medium or hard). Freestyle The final option for your SmartCourt drill is to select freestyle. This is different from freestyle practice: you are working on a specific stroke with a target area, but with no deisgnated end time or stroke number to reach. QUICK STATS And at any time during a drill you can select QUICK STATS in the bottom left of the kiosk screen to get a quick snapshot of what occured in the drill. Check out your longest streak, your accuracy in the target zone and in the court, and your average and fastest speeds on your strokes. After reviewing the drill you can select BACK to replay the drill (or to create a new drill), or you can select ANALYZE to close the drills mode and to review your performance with more comprehensive statistics and video analysis tools. Select FEEDING for one of the players if you don t want the stats tracked from that side of the court (great for 2-on-1 training or if a coach is moving around the court feeding from different spots).

SERVE AND RETURN MODE Once you click on SERVE AND RETURN, this is the screen (right) that will appear on the kiosk. For each player, it will display in real-time both the fastest serve as well as the percentage of total serves that are in. And, like in many other SmartCourt modes, you will be able to customize the sound options (such as line calling and speed calling). You can also click on REPLAY at any time to review a great serve or to challenge a close call, and after you have completed the drill you can select DEBRIEF to review in greater detail all of your serves Here is the option to either toggle on or off SERVE LINE CALLING. On the right, the option to have SERVE SPEED CALLING is also something you can toggle on or off. In this mode, the system will only track serves and the first return shot. Ensure that you wait at least 3 seconds between each serve to give the system time to track it. Real-time serve speed is available - put all sounds on to also have the system call lines (you can always mute or adjust the volume). Serves can be hit from either side of the court and from both the deuce and ad sides Coaches - make sure you don t stand beside your player while they are serving - this may interfere with the tracking of the analytic cameras. VIDEO ONLY Video Only is a great mode if you don t want any statistics or analytics, but still want to use the video tools on-court, and have your video footage saved to your PlaySight account. We recommend utilizing Video Only mode in situations where there will be a lot of activity on the court - whether it is a group or team practice. The analytic cameras only track one player on each side of the court, so in group settings make sure to use Video Only when out on a SmartCourt!

DOUBLES MODE When you log in on the SmartCourt, at least one of the four doubles players needs to have a PlaySight account. Within the DOUBLES mode, you will be given the option to either analyize previous matches (if you have previously played on this SmartCourt), or to have a MATCH. Once you select MATCH, this screen to the right comes up. Right now there are no real-time analytics or statistics generated for doubles tennis, but it is in our product roadmap. GROUPS MODE Another great feature of PlaySight s technology is the GROUPS mode. This allows coaches to quickly and easily manage all of their lessons, clinics, and practice sessions. Players don t need to spend any time logging in on the kiosk before each lesson or group practice session. There are a few steps with the GROUPS mode to ensure that coaches and players get the most out of it. On the kiosk, the GROUPS button comes up on the main home screen. You will only be able to log in if you are designated as a coach for this specific club or SmartCourt location. Smart Court : For coaches, spend time on your PlaySight.com account to set up your groups - it saves you the hassle of having to do anything on the kiosk. Make sure your players have your club designated as one of their home clubs.

TIPS AND TROUBLESHOOTING 1. Make sure there is one person on each side of the court for accurate statistics and player tracking 2. Make sure only one ball is in play 3. Serve practice can be done from both sides (just wait at least 3 seconds between each serve) 4. Matches, tournaments, and serve practice must start with a serve 5. Make sure your audio is on to get real time feedback (but you can always mute the audio too) 6. Remember - your video and data is automatically uploaded to the cloud - which you can access at PlaySight.com or through the free PlaySight app 7. Don t forget to Log Out when you are done 8. Only one overview (middle of the court) camera is uploaded to the cloud - you can access all camera views on the kiosk, but only one online or through the App (ask your club or pro which side to play on to get the best footage of your session) 9. At least one user must log in for the system to record 10. The video and audio is private and is only accessible by you - unless you choose to share it via social media or with your coaches or family and friends 11. Live streaming is not automatically turned on - please consult with your club, school, or academy to see whether the live stream is activated. 12. If you encouter any issues on the kiosk, please notify the front desk or your pro or coach 13. You can contact PlaySight s global support team at support@playsight.com - provide them with as much information as you can for them to give you timely help 14. The SmartCourt system is very accurate (and with each software update and algorithm tweak we get closer to perfect accuracy) - once in a while a close call may be missed - but don t forget you can utilize multi-angle video review to challenge and review close calls 15. The SmartCourt kiosk is the brain of the court - all of the cameras are connected to it and everything runs through it - please ensure that the kiosk screen is kept out of the direct sunlight (if outdoors), and is regularly cleaned and well-maintained. 16. There are no sensors or wearable devices necessary for the SmartCourt to track your movement
