Elise Hooper s The Other Alcott shares the story of May Alcott, youngest sister of Louisa May Alcott. May was a talented artist who ran in the same Parisian social circle as artists like Mary Cassatt and Berthe Morisot. This gallery tour will bring May s story to life, as we explore the themes of The Other Alcott as they relate to artworks on view in Women Artists in the Age of Impressionism. 2/6

This workshop is appropriate for anyone interested in creative writing, no experience required! 16+ SATURDAY, MAY 12, 10:30 AM 12:30 PM BACK TO BASICS: IMPRESSIONIST PASTELS $5 MEMBERS / $20 NON-MEMBERS Explore the emotive marks and expressive colors of the Speed s special exhibition, Women Artists in the Age of Impressionism and learn to make your own impressionist work of art using pastels.
