PRESS RELEASE CREATE, MIX, CONTROL YOUR MUSIC WITH A SIMPLE HAND GESTURE

Specktr? what is that? Specktr is a wireless MIDI controller based on a glove that creates an outstanding and intuitive experience. It is a complete and compact instrument that allows you to play and modulate the music on many softwares and applications.

SOLUTIONS PROVIDED BY SPECKTR 1500 controls... More than 1500 and simultaneous different controls (instead of 50 for most the controllers) Your creativity and freedom are widely augmented thanks to all the options offered by the software. A bespoke controller... A bespoke controller. Each musician can implement a number of features to reach its creativity s needs. Intuitive... The controller is fully customizable and based on proprioception (perception of the man s own body), it allows a complete intuitivity for the musician. It is easy and quick to understand how to use the glove. A total freedom Freedom for artist on stage. You don t need heavy material. You can focus on strong interaction with your audience.

SOLUTIONS PROVIDED BY SPECKTR Here are the 3 different elements that you will notice on the glove : A Glove An embedded system The application with textile sensors to detect the position of your fingers. Each combination of the hand can be associated with a MIDI control, allowing you hundreds of possibilities. The embedded system is in a removable housing. It allows the analysis, processing and Bluetooth transmission of the motion data. Specktr detects many predefined gestures and easy to perform as an air percussion, a fader, a potentiometer or a trigger note. The application allows you to program custom or pre recorded commands for various DAW software.

HOW SPECKTR WORKS? Each finger position may be associated with different motion and each of these gestures can be assigned to a single MIDI command. These MIDI data then transmitted via Bluetooth to your computer, tablet or smartphone. Add to that, 4 assignable configuration modes with a simple gesture for limitless control possibilities.

A SOLUTION TO FILL MUSICIANS NOWADAYS NEEDS. Musicians are, nowadays, facing 3 main issues : The lack of adaptation Controllers are, most of them, using the same kind of actuators (Potentiometers, switches,...). The ergonomic placement of these sensors is adapted to control a DAW software type. The musician who owns and uses multiple parallel software is then obliged to own and control multiple controllers, which represents a significant cost as well as a large footprint and therefore a loss of ergonomics. The need to better express themselves The number of actuators being physically limited by the size of the controller, it is often impossible to control all the parameters of the associated software. Musicians are therefore obliged to compromise on the number of parameters to control simultaneously, which is a limitation for expression. Spektr is the solution to overcome those challenges and offer musicians an amazing freedom. The Lack of visual interaction with audience Musicians on stage, during a live show, are always looking for visual interaction with the audience. Because of the current material, hand gesture / body language are limited. Artists want stronger connection with the audience playing with the lights, videos, etc... But the current tools don t allow them to create as much as they want.
