INDEX Slide 3: History of Sheffield Pharmaceuticals Slide 4: Why Sheffield Pharmaceuticals Slide 5 15: Sheffield Product Offerings Slide 16: Sheffield Product Specification Sheet 2

History of Sheffield Pharmaceuticals Washington Wentworth Sheffield (April 23, 1827 November 4, 1897) was an American dental surgeon best known for inventing toothpaste. Early in Dr. Sheffield s dental practice, he formulated a mouthwash, which he used for years on his patients. When he and his son started the Sheffield Dentifrice Co. in 1880, they improved and reformulated that mouthwash and sold it as Sheffield s Elixir Balm for the gums. Based on contemporary news reports at the time, Dr. Sheffield conceived of a ready-made tooth crème in the mid-1870s and was using it on his patients with great praise from them. To this crème, he added various extracts of mints that left a very pleasing taste in the mouth of his patients, which caused them to request samples of the toothpaste. With the help of his son Lucius T. Sheffield, he is also known for being the first person to place the paste in collapsible tubes for public sale. He also made important contributions to the fields of Dentistry and Dental Surgery and was considered one of the most skilled dentists in New England and the United States. In 1896, Colgate & Company began selling its own toothpaste that mimicked Dr. Sheffield s readymade toothpaste and sold it in collapsible tubes like Dr. Sheffield. Later in life, he spent most of his time as treasurer and manager of his companies, the Sheffield Dentifrice Company and the International Tooth Crown Company, in New London, Connecticut. The company is still located there. Today, Sheffield Pharmaceuticals, is both a trusted brand and a contract manufacturer for many large drug, grocery, and mass merchandising store chains both in the USA and in 40 countries. They own over 2,000 proprietary formulas and have 54 branded products selling in almost 60,000 retail stores around the world. Sheffield products can be found in both Hong Kong and in Taiwan, a relative and significant fact, for someone distributing to the China mainland. The company employs over 200 employees, 50 of which are in their Quality Control department. For more information, please visit: www.sheffield-pharmaceuticals.com 3

Why Sheffield Pharmaceuticals Sheffield Pharmaceuticals is a 135 year old company that pioneered modern day toothpaste in a tube. They maintain a current product line of 54 branded products with new products being developed. All are US OTC compliant. Willing to provide a protected online country wide distribution agreement. Capabilities also include contract manufacturing for creation of a proprietary branded USA label product line. All prices include freight to China approved ports. A 15% discount is available for a distributor willing to purchase FOB. Wholesale prices have been pre-negotiated. All contract terms will be negotiated with Sheffield by the Distributor. All products produced at Sheffield meet all FDA requirements and are compliant with U.S. FDA drug product and medical device regulations as well as conforming to label claims as required by the US FTC. Their GMP driven laboratories ensure that finished products conform to USP, BP, EP, JP, and FCC. Certificates of Analysis and Product Specifications are available for all production batches The significance of a 135 year history puts Sheffield into the same US historical grouping as Quaker Oats, Levi Strauss, General Electric, Wells Fargo and Kellogg s. The USA is a country that is effectively, only about 300 years old. The only companies that survive this long, have a history based upon solid reputation, quality and some historical innovation. For Sheffield, it was the invention of toothpaste in a collapsible tube. OTC products are not about unique ingredients. There are any number of companies that manufacture essentially a similar formula as is in Sheffield s branded line. Most are commodity products. They fill specific consumer health needs. They are generally low priced. What is important about an OTC brand is a company s reputation, and Sheffield s 135 year history, provides that marketable reputation. The second area with significant marketing impact is product quality. It is a fact of life, but having the Made in USA flag on the label in China, is well received by consumers. The quality certifications of cgmp, USP, BP, EP, JP and FCC, are paramount in marketing the quality of Sheffield products. Market Sheffield based upon reputation, quality and price, not according to consumer awareness alone. 4
