CI/SfB (52.5) lh4 Oct 2012 Kenilworth Range DATA SHEET Description The Kenilworth gutter is one of a pair of profiled pressed aluminium gutters available in four standard sizes. They provide the hydraulic advantages of a box gutter but the profiled face gives some architectural interest, enabling the designer to make the gutter a feature of the building. The gutters have high flow capacity allowing the number of downpipes to be reduced, with consequent savings in drainage costs. As the gutters are direct fixed to a fascia board, no brackets are visible and the external joint strap requires no seen fixings, resulting in a smooth gutter line. The jointing system allows for the expansion and contraction of the aluminium over the complete temperature range experienced in the UK, so that expansion joints are not required even on the longest runs. The gutters are supplied as standard polyester powder coated on the outside faces giving a choice of over 200 standard colours and a long maintenance free life. Specifying Information type: : Gauge: Jointing: Fixing: Accessories: Finish: Bailey Kenilworth aluminium gutter. External joint straps assembled dry with gap for expansion. Joints are sealed internally with silicone sealant supplied by the manufacturer. To be screwed to fascia board of minimum thickness 22mm through pre-punched holes in back of gutter and accessories, with stainless steel screws and nylon washers supplied by the manufacturer. 90 / 135 Internal / External / Corners. CI/SfB (52.5) lh4 Oct 2012 Stirling Range DATA SHEET Description The Bailey Stirling gutter range comprises five sizes of aluminium box gutter. Box gutters have the highest hydraulic capacity of any gutter type, the largest in the series giving a huge flow of over 17 litres per second. This allows the drainage engineer to reduce the number of downpipe drops with a consequent saving in drainage costs and also may enable the architect to keep an elevation clear of downpipes if required. The external joint strap system allows for expansion and contraction over the full climatic range of the U.K. without requiring separate expansion joints and also eliminates the unsightly nuts and bolt often associated with joints on this type of gutter. The entire range is available direct fix, with only the largest size utlizing integral support straps, which are not visible from below. The absence of brackets makes for a neat, attractive eaves line. All the gutters are produced from a substantial gauge of aluminium and for a long, maintenance free life are supplied as standard with the outside faces polyester powder coated. This gives the architect an almost infinite choice of colours. Specifying Information type: : Gauge: Jointing: Fixing: Accessories: Finish: (as standard) Bailey Stirling aluminium gutter.
