ACDSee Pro 3 tutorials: Process overview After you have organized and viewed your images in Manage and View s, you are ready to take your images into Process for developing and editing. Start in to do the majority of your image corrections. The changes you apply in are applied to the entire image. Use Edit to selectively adjust parts of your image. You can also add borders, eliminate flaws, or correct red eye.

Begin with the processing tools in the General group to make general image adjustments such as exposure and contrast. Any image adjustments you make are shown here. Select White Balance, Lighting, Advanced Color or Tone Curves group to adjust lighting and color in your image. Color Profile is only available for RAW files.

The detail tab displays an enlarged section of the image to help monitor your adjustments to sharpness and noise. Drag your cursor on the image to select a part of the image you want to magnify. Adjust the sliders in the Sharpening and Noise Reduction groups.

Use Selections to apply corrections to specific areas of the image. Use the Repair group to reduce red eye or eliminate flaws. Use the tools in the Add group to add text, borders, watermark, or special effects.

Save is not available for RAW file formats because you cannot directly save changes to a RAW file. To save changes, use Save as to save the image to a different file format. Save As: Saves your file with a different file name or format.
