General Features DTM s Series Busbar Trunking System is designed to meet all lighting requirements from 25A to 63A. Technical Data Made of galvanized sheet, the enclosure of the Busbar Trunking System is roll formed for increased mechanical strength. There are 4 PVC insulated conductors: L1, L2, L3 and N+Pe. The cross section of the neutral conductor (optionally 5 conductors) is same as that of the phase conductor. The housing is used for earthing. The Busbar Trunking System is tested and designed according to the standard IEC 61439-1/6. Installation through a cable trunk is possible. Smoke, light intensity, etc. can be controlled using a PLC and a Router. The Busbar Trunking System is manufactured in compliance with the standard ISO 9000 under a certified quality assurance system. Advantages Fittings For an adaptable lighting system, fittings allow for taking optimal advantage of space and for both vertical and horizontal installation. 3-step easy and quick installation: 1. Hangers are placed for hanging the busbars. 2. For connecting two busbars, one busbar is attached to the spring retainer pin. 3. No skilled person or special tool is required for installation. Advantages of the Busbar Trunking System Easy Easy-to-design power distribution, clear network structure and easy engineering and installation Quick With minimum number of tools, quick installation and reduced installation time Flexible Easy-to-extend and modify Plug-In Points The standard distance between two tap-off points is 75 cm. Standard lengths with higher number of plug-in points are available upon request. Colored Covers The tap-off plug covers of DTM s Series Busbar Trunking System are designed in different colors so as to allow for seeing the phase supplied. Tap-Off Plugs and Tap-Off Units The tap-off plugs and tap-off units of DTM s Busbar Trunking Systems are designed with different contact sequences in order to avoid the misuse of the busbar. In order to avoid the misuse of the phase, all tap-off plugs and tap-off units are manufactured so as to allow for unidirectional connection with the busbar. Safety For safety reasons, the first and last members to contact the busbar housing are the earth conductors of the tap-off plugs and tap-off units. Conductor Option In addition to full-section phase and neutral conductors, earth conductors are available upon request. Silver Plated Contact Pins Contact resistances are minimized. 4 5
