SGD Simulation & Game Development Course Information SGD-111_2006SP Introduction to SGD SGD-111 CIS Course ID S21240 This course provides students with an introduction to simulation and game development. Topics include setting, storytelling, narrative, character design, interface design, game play, internal economy, core mechanics, game genres, AI, the psychology of game design and professionalism. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate knowledge of the major aspects of simulation and game design and development. IMPORTANT NOTE TO COLLEGES APPROVED TO OFFER SDG-111: If your college's current IIPS program of study contain the Fall 2006 version of SGD-111, then your college MUST use the Spring 2006 version of SGD-111 (S21240) when building sections and programs of study in Colleague.
