IMPORTNT NOTES Thank you for buying a ML-TOMLIN FLOW shower door! efore you begin, please take a few minutes to read the following notes and record your product information. Keep these instructions in a safe place for future reference. We recommend that you read through entire manual EFORE beginning the installation. Please ensure that your shower base is properly installed against the 2x4 stud frame and that it is perfectly leveled. Use wood reinforcement where the threshold of your base meets the tile; this is where your shower doors will mount to the wall. If you are building a custom base, please contact ML-TOMLIN (1.866.884.5290) for details and base specifications in order to ensure that the doors and base will work together. Please note that this is a 2 person installation, and that safety glasses and safety shoes must be used during the installation. Safety gloves are also recommended to ease the handling of glass panels. Inspect your unit upon opening. If any hardware or glass panels are damaged in any way, contact ML TOMLIN immediately. Do not install damaged units. Ensure that the bottom edges of your glass panels are always protected during installation (you can use the cardboard box supplied with your unit). lso, please note that all glass panels are tempered. Exercise caution at all times in order to prevent chipping or cracking your glass. NEVER install glass panels that are either chipped, cracked, or damaged in any other way. Please check your glass panels carefully before installation. If your glass panels are damaged, please contact ML-TOMLIN (1.866.884.5290). Tempered glass becomes hazardous once it is damaged. NOTE: wall jamb extension and wall mount expansion are included with your FLOW shower door. Please note that these parts can be used if your opening is larger than average. 1. Install the wheel assemblies to the door panel Set your door panel (2) in the unit and rest it against the wall (this will ease installation in later steps). Ensure that the handle side of the door panel is located on the proper side (for a left hand door the holes will be located on the left side, for a right hand door, the holes will be located on the right side). Ensure that the panel is well secured. Using an llen key, install the wheels (7) onto the door panel so that they are facing outwards. Do not install the wheel covers at this time. 2 7 FLOW INSTLLTION - LOVE 4

2. Install wall jamb On the side where your fixed panel will be mounted, measure 1 from the edge of the base and mark a line as shown. Place the wall jamb (3) against the wall and centre it with the mark on the base. Using a level, adjust the wall jamb until it is plumb. Mark the three holes (located inside the wall jamb) onto the wall using a pen or pencil. 1 3 x3 FLOW INSTLLTION - LOVE 5

3. Install wall jamb (continued) Using a 1/4 ceramic drill bit, drill three holes into your wall through the centre marks drawn earlier. Insert the plastic wall anchors (18) into the holes and mount the wall jamb using the provided screws (20). Optional: The wall jamb expansion. x3 1/4 17 x3 21 FLOW INSTLLTION - LOVE 6

4. Install fixed panel arefully slide the fixed panel (1) into the wall jamb as shown. Ensure that the panel is parallel to the edge of the base. UTION: Since the panel sits close to the edge of the base, use extreme caution to ensure that the panel stays in place and does not get knocked off of the base until it is firmly fastened. 1 FLOW INSTLLTION - LOVE 7

5. ssemble rail components Set the wall mounts fully onto each end of the rail and fix them place by tightening the inner set screws (see below) with an llen key. The finished (flat) side of the rail should be facing the outside of the shower unit. 4 5 FLOW INSTLLTION - LOVE 8

6. djust fixed panel Hold up the rail assembly so that the hole in the rail roughly aligns with the hole in the fixed panel. djust the fixed panel by sliding it in or out of the wall jamb until the hole in the panel lines up with the hole in the rail. Measure the gap (if any) between the ends of the rail assembly and the walls and take note. The gap should not exceed 1.0, if so, use the expansion bracket to fill the gap. Using an llen key, loosen the two wall mounts and slide outwards to eliminate the gap. Re-tighten the set screws. FLOW INSTLLTION - LOVE 9

7. Install fixed panel bracket Place the sliding block (10) on the base and slide it over the edge of the fixed panel. Mark the hole onto the base using a pen or pencil. Note that two blocks are included with your hardware, a left-hand version and a right-hand version; use the one appropriate to your installation. Remove the block, and drill a hole into the base through the centre mark using a 1/8 drill bit. pply a small bead of silicone into the hole, reposition the block, and fasten it to the base using the provided countersunk screw (23). aml-tomlin recommends using clear 100% silicone. 10 1/8 23 FLOW INSTLLTION - LOVE 10

8. Mount rail assembly to fixed panel Hold the rail in place behind the fixed panel so that the holes are lined up. Fix the rail to the fixed panel using the rail mount assembly (6) as shown below. Ensure that the rail is well secured by tightening the bolt using an llen key. 6 FLOW INSTLLTION - LOVE 11

9. Level rail assembly Place a level on top of the rail and adjust the rail by gently rotating it until the assembly is horizontal. Ensure that the rail is perfectly level, as this will keep your door from opening or closing on its own. Mark the wall mount holes onto the walls using a pen or pencil. FLOW INSTLLTION - LOVE 12

10. Install wall mounts to wall D Using an llen Key, loosen both set screws on the wall mount brackets. Slide both brackets inwards towards the centre and re-tighten the set screws to keep them in place. arefully rotate the rail about the rail mount so that you can access the markings drawn on the wall. Re-tighten the rail mount bolt to ensure that the raill assembly stays in place. Drill a hole into your walls through each centre mark using a 5/16 ceramic drill bit. Insert the large wall anchors (19) into the holes. D x4 D 3/8 D x4 19 FLOW INSTLLTION - LOVE 13

11. Install wall mounts to wall (continued) arefully rotate the rail back into position so that the holes of the wall mount brackets align with the anchors in the wall. Loosen the set screws in the wall mount brackets and slide them up to the wall on each end of the rail. heck the rail to see that it still sits level. Fasten the wall mounts to the walls using the supplied large philips-head screws (21). Tighten well using a screw driver. The longer philips-head screws (22) should be used with the expansion brackets. 21 FLOW INSTLLTION - LOVE 14

12. b D Mount door assembly onto rail Using a utility knife, cut the door bumper and bumper seal to length and install onto glass. The gasket with the angled lip must be applied to the handle side of the door panel with the lip facing inward. arefully lift the door assembly, ensuring you have a good grip on the glass. Holding the glass at an angle (see below), set the two wheels on top of the rail. Do not insert the bottom edge of the glass into the guide block at this point, but rest it carefully and gently against the inside of it. Set a piece of cardboard in between the block and the glass for protection. Using a hack saw, cut the bottom water guard to length so that it fits between the two vertical gaskets and install onto the bottom edge. Ensure the lip faces inward. Lift the door assembly on to the rail. s you lower the door again, guide the bottom edge of the door panel into the slot of the sliding block. 15 13 D 14 D FLOW INSTLLTION - LOVE 15

13. omplete door assembly Mount the two safety pins below the rail. Install the handle (9) to the door panel so that the set screws are located on the inside of the shower door. FLOW INSTLLTION - LOVE 16

14. Install catching bracket Place the catching block (11) onto the base and align the slot with the door panel. Mark a hole onto your base using a pen or a pencil. Note that two brackets are included with your hardware, a left-hand version and a right-hand version; use the one appropriate to your installation. Remove the bracket, and drill a hole into your base through the centre marks using a 1/8 drill bit. pply a small bead of silicone into the hole, reposition the bracket, and fasten it to the base using the provided countersunk screw (23). aml-tomlin recommends using clear 100% silicone. 11 1/8 23 FLOW INSTLLTION - LOVE 17

15. Install threshold Measure the distance between the sliding block and the catching block and take note. dd 1/4 to the dimension from step 15; the total is the length to which you should cut your threshold. Slide the cut threshold into the slot of one block and then into the other. You may use a few small beads of silicone on the underside of the threshold to hold it in place. 12 + 0.25 = FLOW INSTLLTION - LOVE 18

16. Install remaining seals Install the wall jamb seal (17). Insert the wedged end in between the fixed panel and the outer edge of the wall jamb. Start at the bottom and work your way up to the top, trimming off any excess with a utility knife. Measure the distance between the top of the fixed panel bracket and the underside of the safety pins. ut your vertical water guard (16) to be roughly 1/4 shorter than the measured dimension. Install the guard over the front edge of the fixed panel so that the guard lip is facing inwards (see below). Using a utility knife, trim the bottom end of your door bumper seal lip so that it just clears the top of the catching block (see below). 17 16 FLOW INSTLLTION - LOVE 19

17. Install remaining seals Put the cover caps onto the wheels. bit of silicone is necessary for the inside covers. pply silicone along all outside edges of your unit, as shown below. Do not silicone on the inside of your unit. aml-tomlin recommends using clear 100% silicone. Please allow 24 hours for the silicone to properly dry before using your unit. Enjoy your new FLOW shower door! 24 h FLOW INSTLLTION - LOVE 20
