From our First CD in 2003, Loose Shoes Untied, Ric s song Footprints was selected as one of six national finalists for the 2005 KCCM Song of the year. Band members and instruments: Pam : Guitar, casaba, tambourine, Keyboards, vocals Ric : Electric and acoustic guitar, vocals Jeff Pullen: Drums, vocals Big Al Robinson: Harmonica Biography Ric has been recording and performing since the late 80 s. With his band Side Step, Ric performed across North East Ohio in venues like Tommy s River Inn and The Wolf at the Door. In 1988, Ric wrote and recorded for SunBay Productions out of Clearwater Florida. This production company produced classic videos like Lotto Fever and Reflections in Time. Recorded at Clockwerk Sound Studios in Cleveland, Ohio, these documentaries are a must see for any collector. Over the past eight years, Ric has been a part of The Loose Shoes Band. Whether writing songs, singing or playing guitar, The Loose Shoes Band gives Ric the opportunity to have a lot of fun. In 2003, Loose Shoes released an acoustic disk of original music. Loose Shoes Untied included Ric s songs Mother Change and Father Time, I Can See Beauty, and Footprints, which was nominated for the KCCM Song of the Year in 2005. In 2008, The Loose Shoes Band produced it s most diverse album to date. Ric, with help from Pam, penned 12 of the 13 songs on the disk. From Pam s warm vocals on Hurricane and 5 Minutes More to the raucous You Might be Right and the raunchy Sex Toy, The Loose Shoes Band delivers a high-energy mix of songs. Titled Lost and Found, this CD is available on CD Baby and at www.looseshoes.com. Ric s influences include Peter Gabriel, The Beatles, Eric Clapton and Crosby, Stills and Nash. Pam Oreto began singing gospel music with her mother and four siblings at three years of age. She inherited her brother s electric guitar when she was ten years old and was off and running. At twelve, she spun vocal harmonies in a four-part accapella group, then moved on to rock and folk bands, playing guitar and singing lead and back-up vocals. She led the musical segment of a televised gospel show in Chattanooga, Tennessee during her late teens. Over the years, she's performed with many groups, such as The Hombres, Jim Vest and the Nashville Cats, and The Blue Maniacs, as well as spent many hours in the studio doing vocals for artists' demos. Her

influences include Joni Mitchell, Carly Simon, Anne Murray, Bonnie Raitt, Delbert McClinton, Eric Clapton, and Billie Holiday. Since 2002, Pam has been the soul of The Loose Shoes Band. Pam is always pushing for the tightest harmonies. With her ability to sing every harmony part to every song ever written, Pam is an absolute joy to play and sing with. Her soulful voice stands out in the crowd and her ability to bring the audience in to every performance is one of the best parts of The Loose Shoes Band. On another note, you could say since Jeff's mother is a composer of classical piano music that his introduction to music started prior to birth. After birth, around the age of seven, Jeff started taking piano lessons and found that it wasn't the sound of the piano that lit his desires, but something about the smooth rhythm produced by the tickling ivories. Whether it was a result of all the Sousa being played during his birth on the 4th of July or just the tenor sound of the keys going that thump-de-thump, thump, thump, thump-de-thump Jeff found it was percussion that got him all drummed up. Therefore, at age 10 Jeff went from banging around on the piano to banging the drums. Taking drum/percussion lessons led to the school band led from the base drum to snare drum to the quad timpani to the congas and most any other percussion instrument that required "reading" music. In 1973, Jeff started with his first band "Hardwater". Having a composer around helped not only with playing the Beatles, Grand Funk Railroad and Elvis but led to some early original compositions as well. With interests in everything from the brass bands of Tower of Power, and Earth,Wind and Fire, to the old Motown classic groups like the Drifters, Jeff's taste and art expanded into the 'Portrait', a 5 piece entertainment band that played anything from disco, to the Doobie Brothers, Chicago to Average White Band along with some O'Jays. You could find them playing in nightclubs and Holiday Inn lounges from N.Y. down to Michigan. In the late 70's, Jeff put together a 3-piece band called "Highlife" that played in many of the same venues. Al Robinson has played harmonica professionally in the Atlanta area for over seven years now. He started playing harp back when he was 18 down in Gainesville, Florida. Al got involved in local culture, which is rich in music. Musicians such as Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Steven Stills, Bennie Leadon of the Eagles, Sister Hazel and many others either came out of Gainesville or were influenced by others from that area. A little known fact is the reality that the Allman Brothers got their financial start out of a small music store called Lipham's Music out of Gainesville. After over 54 years, Lipham's is still there today. Being a harmonica player, it gives Al the opportunity to "step in" with various bands in the North Atlanta area. He enjoys everything from Classic Rock to Blues. Al has played harp with The Loose Shoes Band on and off for over a year. His soaring harmonica adds depth and emotion to On the Road (Again) from the 2008 Lost and Found CD.
