The KPG -tubes manufactured in this manner have a defined internal diameter. The accuracy depends on the crosssection and the actual bore size. KPG -tubes can be manufactured with various cross-sections and axial sections and they can be processed further in many ways. 2

External or internal step According to your specifications, steps are ground on the inside or the outside of the tube ends. This permits exact centering when installing the tubes. End processing - heat working 8. External or internal ground multi-step At the ends of the tubes, multisteps are ground on the inside or the outside, according to your specifications. Matt finished surface A range of finishes at different degrees of roughness on the inner and/or outer surface can be obtained via blasting the item using different grain sizes. The effect of the matt finished surface is an even distribution of light. This finish also provides a more adhesive surface for mastics. Polished surface Ground tubes receive a smooth, see-through surface when being polished. Typical applications are, for example, cylindrical conveyors or film carriers. 1. Ends fire-polished and round After cracking-off or cutting, the ends are fire-polished. The result is a very smooth, round edge. 2. Defined constriction or flare at the ends The tube ends are constricted or flared, according to your specifications. Ground surface Very tight tolerances (in the µm range) on the external diameter can be achieved by grinding. This processing method is used, for example, to produce samples to an exact fit. According to your specifications, we will realize different degrees of roughness. Plastic coating When ordering from us, you automatically get a high degree of safety.
