3 The default of device When unit is powered up first time, the date and clock are defaulted to 00:00 Sunday 01-01- 2012. The alarms are defaulted to 0:00, The radio is switched off It then switches to auto-run mode The energy saving is OFF. 4 How to setup device When Auto-Run Mode, Press <MENU> once go to setting mode. Press <Select> to Confirm select and return to set menu. 5 How to using device 5.1 Using the radio 5.1.1 Radio on/off and band select Press <Power> once to turn on the radio. Press <Power> again to turn off the radio. Press <FUNC> to select DAB or FM 5.1.2 Electronic Volume Control Press <VOL+ / AL1> once, to increase speaker volume by one step. Hold for continually. Press <VOL- / AL2> once, to decrease speaker volume by one step. Hold for continually. 5.1.3 Using DAB band When DAB is first time, Automatic Scan function will start automatically and "Scanning 0" on LCD. 5.1.3.1 Select DAB station Press <UP> or <DOWN>once to select DAB station list. Press <Select> once to confirm and tune to the station. 5.1.3.2 Store station into preset 6-9
Press and hold <Select> to store value of timer into The current position. 5.1.3.3 Recall the preset Press <Select> to Confirm select and recall the frequency. 5.1.3.4 AMS using Press and hold <auto-scan> for 2 seconds to active AMS mode. In this mode, the radio will automatically scan the radio station and store the station that had been scanned until scan up all the frequency or stored all the memory station, it will exit automatically. 5.1.3.5 Review information of station Press <info> to review information of station. There are eight kinds of choices, it is respectively: a. Station time b. Station frequency and block number c. Data rate d. Station RSSI e. Signal error Rate f. DLS (Scrolling text) g. Program type h. Station name 5.1.4 Using FM band 5.1.4.1 Search Up/Down When the radio is ON, press <UP> once to change the receiving frequency up by 1 step Press <DOWN> once to change the receiving frequency down by 1 step. Press and hold <UP> to search the next radio station by moving the receiving frequency up. Press and hold <DOWN> to search the next radio station by moving the receiving frequency down. 5.1.4.2 store station into preset Press and hold <Select> to store value of timer into The current position. 5.1.4.3 Recall the preset Press <Select> to Confirm select and recall the frequency. 5.1.4.4 AMS using Press and hold <auto-scan> for 2 seconds to active AMS mode. Press <Select> to Confirm select and tune to new frequency. 5.1.4.5 Set stereo On/Off Press <Menu> once to 'FM set menu' mode. Press <UP> or <DOWN> to select 'Audio setting'. There are four kinds of choices, it is respectively: a. Station time b. Station text c. Station Program type d. Station RSSI 5.2 using the AOT When radio is on, press the <AOT> key once, the LCD displays AOT Setting 90. If radio is off, will turn on the radio. Press <AOT> once to change the time down by 5 minutes, press and hold <AOT> to change the setting in fast mode. Press <AOT> once to review the current AOT timer, when AOT is active. When the time is count down over, it will turn off the radio automatically. Note : When no key has been pressed for 15 seconds, the system exit AOT timer display mode, but the AOT timer is run at background. 5.3 Using the cooking timer 5.3.1 quick start cooking timer Press <Timer> once to enter the cooking timer mode. Press <Up> or <Down> to select value of timer in history list. Press <Timer> again to start cooking timer. 5.3.2 set value of cooking timer Press <Menu> once enter set minute of timer when the cooking timer mode Press <Up> or <Down> to change value of minute. Press <Select> to Confirm minute and enter set hour of timer. Press <Up> or <Down> to change value of hour. Press <Select> to Confirm hour. Press <Timer> once to start cooking timer. 5.3.3 Cooking Timer Value Preset There are 10 preset Cooking timer 5.3.3.1 Store value into Preset Refer to 5.1.2 set value Press and hold <Select> to store value of timer into The current position. 5.3.3.2 Recall the preset Press <Select> to Confirm select and recall the value. 5.3.4 Cancel Cooking Timer Press and hold <Timer> to cancel the cooking timer. Note : When no key has been pressed for 15 seconds, the system exit cooking timer display mode, but the cooking timer is run at background. 8-9
5.4 Quick review alarm setting Press <VOL+ / AL1> once to review alarm 1 setting. Press <VOL- / AL2> once, to review alarm 2 setting. Note : When no key has been pressed for 15 seconds, the system return to auto run mode. As the SDA active, Sound of beep toggles at the Speaker for 10 minutes, cancel other & The SDA is Coming goes on LCD display The beep will sound ever hour for 10 minutes until 23:00 Press any key to start its corresponding function and the SDA will be terminate 5.6 When alarm is active When the real time clock matches with the alarm which has been enabled, alarm becomes active. As the alarm becomes active, Other function, if exists, is terminated immediately. If Beep sound alarm is selected, a) Sound of beep toggles at the Speaker b) The duration of alarm is 10 minutes If FM is selected, a) Radio On and turn to FM band b) The duration of the alarm is 10 minutes If DAB is selected, a) Radio On and turn to DAB band b) The duration of the alarm is 10 minutes Press any key to terminate the currently active alarm. 9-9
