This setup ensures good cross departmental communication onboard and ensures high operational efficiency. NORMAND MERMAID is a light Offshore Constuction Vessel with DP3 capabilities. She has served numerous clients since the charter commenced and is a versatile and efficient subsea intervention vessel. Normand Mermaid has been in Ocean Installer s fleet since April 2013 and have been utilized for a large variety of offshore work tasks including dredging, umbilical lay, RFO operations and general subsea intervention work. By use of the mid-mounted moonpool a module handling system (MHS) can be mobilized, or the moonpool can be used for deployment of umblilicals, test hoses and other equipment.
