SENIOR PICTURE FAQ S How do I order my photos? All portrait and yearbook photo orders are placed by appointment at our Auburn studio. When is my yearbook picture due? Picture day advice Arrive early: 10-15 minutes. Arriving early gives you time to relax and prepare for your photo session. It gives our staff time to discuss and answer any questions you may have. We like to begin your photo session at the start of your appointment time. (Please note that if you have a location session scheduled, the photographer will meet you at the beginning of your appointment time). Plan ahead: Although it is not required, we certainly enjoy and appreciate feedback and ideas that you may have. It helps our photographers customize your photo session. What to wear: Unless your school has a specific requirement, we recommend that you make clothing selections that represent you. Since you have the option of outfit changes, it s ok to get adventurous too. Perhaps you are not a fan of formal attire, but your family is. You are already here, so you might as well plan on multiple styles to keep you and your family happy. (Please note that if you have a location session scheduled, most sessions only allot for two outfits.) Uniforms and props: Feel free to bring your uniform and any props that coincide with it. Pets: If you would like to have your photo taken with a pet, please make sure that you bring someone with you to attend to the pet during your photo session. Friends: There is no additional charge to have a group picture taken with your friends. Please ask your friends to arrive early. Having to wait for the 1 late friend consumes the time allotted for your senior portraits. Make-up: We recommend that you apply make-up as you normally would. Unlike television it is not necessary to apply heavy make-up for your senior session. If you are concerned about blemishes, remember, any portraits you order will be retouched. Hair: We recommend that you style your hair in a manner in which you are accustomed. For ladies, 90% of instances requiring a second session is due to a drastic style change. For Gentlemen, 90% of instances requiring a second session is due to the lack of a haircut prior to your session. Call Ahead: If you have any questions, any at all, please call our office. Professional portraits may be new to many students. Chances are, if you have a question, it has been asked before. Do not hesitate to call us.
