CONDITIONS OF SALE 1. The highest approved bidder to be the purchaser and, if any dispute arises between two or more bidders the Lot so disputed shall be put up again and resold at the discretion of the Auctioneers. The Auctioneers' decision shall, in all cases, be final and binding. 2. The amount of each bid shall be regulated by the Auctioneers. 3. The Lots to be paid for, to the Auctioneers, at the close of the sale and shall be at the risk and expense of the purchaser the moment they are sold. 4. On the fall of the hammer the purchaser to give his name and postal address and to remove his purchase no later than 4.00 p.m. on the day of the sale. 5. The Auctioneers, having described the sheep to the best of their ability, from the description given them by the owners or their agents, do not hold themselves responsible for any inaccuracies. All the sheep are, therefore, sold with all defects, faults and error of every description. 6. To avoid mistakes no sheep shall on any account be taken away or removed without a receipt of payment or order for delivery from the Auctioneers. 7. Upon failure of complying with the above conditions, the sheep shall be resold by public or private sale as the Auctioneers think fit, and the deficiency (if any) together with all cheques attending the resale, shall be made good by the defaulter who shall have no claim to any surplus that may arise as and for liquidated damages. 8. All Rams entered for the Show must be offered for sale in the Auction and prize winners must be sold or prizes won by them forfeited unless the prices realised are below eighty guineas in which case prizes will not be forfeited. 9. A catalogue will be sent to every member. Labels will be issued at the sale on arrival of the sheep. 10. Details of Scrapie Tests should be stated on the Entry forms. Tested and non- tested rams will not be segregated. 11. All Rams to be in the livestock centre by 9 a.m. on the day of the sale ready for judging to commence at 9.30 a.m. prompt. 12. Commission of 5% is payable by the Vendor. Entries closed on MONDAY 16 th OCTOBER 2017. LEVY OF 2 for each Ram sold will be deducted from the proceeds of sale BALLOT was held on Monday 16 th October 2017 at 7.30 p.m. at TAVISTOCK LIVESTOCK CENTRE MARKET CAFÉ No entries will be catalogued unless subscriptions have been paid to date.
