The Town of Sebec records states on pg. 54 that Luther Getchell was born to Ezikial Getchell and Mehitabal on Aug. 1822 in Sebec. Brownville town clerk could tell me nothing of Ezikial's parents for there records only go back as far as 1892. Also pg. 50 states a Luther Getchell married a Ruth Spearing on June 29, 1843. Cemet. Records that i have confirm that they are there. After Luther dies Ruth marries Bryant Wheedin. and she is buried with him in Town Hill Farm Cemt. in Sebec.
