Indigo arden Quilt 1 Page 2 Sewing Instructions 1. Sew (1) 2 ½ x 10 ½ Fabric strip to each side of (1) 8 x 10 ½ Fabric A block. Sew (1) 2 x 11 ½ Fabric strip to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric A block. Trim the block to measure 10 ½ x 12 ½ to make (1) One (Fig. 1). Repeat to make (8) Ones total. 2. Sew (1) 1 ¾ x 10 ½ Fabric strip to each side of (1) 8 x 10 ½ Fabric E strip. Sew (1) 1 ½ x 10 ½ Fabric strip to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric E strip to make (1) Two (Fig. 2). Repeat to make a second F column. make 2 Quilt Top Assembly (Refer to the Quilt Layout while assembling.) 10. Sew (3) lock Ones and (2) lock Twos together, alternating them, to make Column One. Repeat to make Column. 11. Sew (3) lock Twos and (2) lock Ones together, alternating them, to make Column Two. 12. Sew the (3) Columns, in numerical order, and the (2) F columns together, alternating them, to make the quilt top. 13. Sew (1) 1 ½ x 60 ½ Fabric strip to each side of the quilt top. Sew (1) 1 ½ x 60 ½ Fabric strip to the top and to the bottom of the quilt top. 14. Sew (1) 2 x 62 ½ Fabric strip to each side of the quilt top. Sew (1) 2 x 63 ½ Fabric strip to the top and to the bottom of the quilt top. F 15. Sew (1) 6 ½ x 65 ½ Fabric strip to each side of the quilt top. Sew (1) 6 ½ x 75 ½ Fabric strip to the top and to the bottom of the quilt top. 16. Layer and quilt as desired. 17. Sew the (8) 2 ½ x WOF Fabric strips together, end to end with 45-degree seams, to make the binding. Fold this long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and press. 18. ind as desired.
