Change to US 4 needles and with color A, K 3 rnds. Attach color B and K 1 rnd. With color A, K 3 rnds. Attach color C and K 2 rnds. With color A, K until hat measures 6 (6½, 7)" from CO edge. Crown Shaping: Work 1 more rnd, decrease evenly 3 (0, 6) sts to 99 (108, 108) sts. Rnd 1: *[K7, K2tog]; repeat from * to end of rnd. Rnd 2: K all sts. Rnd 3: *[K6, K2tog]; repeat from * to end of rnd. Rnd 4: K all sts. Rnd 5: *[K5, K2tog]; repeat from * to end of rnd. Rnd 6: K all sts. Rnd 7: *[K4, K2tog]; repeat from * to end of rnd. Being careful not to twist your sts, join in the rnd. PM Knit 1 rnd. Work rnds 1-9 of Fair Isle Chart, 2 times. Cut colors B and C, change to US 5 needles and with color A, K 11 rnds. Attach color B, K 1 rnd. Attach color C, K 2 rnds. Nordic Chart: Attach color C, K 2 rnds. Attach color B, K 1 rnd. *[ 6 5 4 3 2 1 With color B, K 1 rnd]; repeat from * 2 more times. A-main color B-highlight color C-contrast color With color A, K 11 rnds. Work rnds 1-9 of Fair Isle Chart, 2 times. Cut colors B and C. With color A, K 1 rnd. With 3-Needle BO method, BO all sts. Pull scarf inside out and weave in ends. Pull scarf back to RS showing and with yarn needle, seam scarf at CO edge to close. Block scarf to size. With color A and US 4 needles, CO 42 (48) sts. Work Twisted Rib pattern for 5 rnds. Change to US 6 needles and color A, K 1 rnd. Work rnds 1-9 of Fair Isle Chart, 1 time. Change to US 4 needles and color A, K 12 rnds, increase 1 st at end of last rnd to 43(49) sts. Thumb Gusset: K21(24) sts, PM, M1L, K1, M1R (3 thumb sts), PM, K to end. K 2 rnds. Rnd 1: K to 1 st M, SM, M1L, K to next M, M1R, SM, K to end (5 thumb sts). Rnds 2 & 3: K all sts. Repeat rnds 1-3 until there are 17 (17) thumb sts. Next rnd: K to 1 st M, place thumb gusset sts onto waste yarn, removing markers, CO2 over gap, K to end. 44 (50) sts. K all sts until glove measures 7 (7)" from CO edge.
