Some kids may not be able to buy a backpack. Write about some things that you would put in a backpack to give to a kid in need. Old coins, stamps, and buttons are fun to collect. Write about something that you like to collect. Imagine that you are in a band or music group. What instrument would you play? Would you sing? What kind of music would you play?

It is nice to help out around the house. Write about the chores that you have at home and how you help around the house. Imagine that fish could talk. Write about a conversation that you may have with a fish. Labor Day is the first Monday in September. Write about three jobs that you think are really amazing.

There are many different types of weather. List some different types of weather and write about your favorite weather conditions. There are many ways to earn money. Write about something that you could do to make money. What would you do with the money that you made? Babies can be fun to take care of, but things can get tricky. Write about how you would take care of a baby and keep them healthy.

Your family works very hard to give you a house to live in, clothes to wear and food to eat. Write about how you could show them you are thankful for what they do. Today we remember firefighters, police officers and people in New York City. Write about how people show bravery and courage. Imagine a world without video games and computers. Write about what you would do for fun?

Reading a book can bring you to a place you have never been. Explain which storybook character you would like to be and why. Imagine that you could be President for one day. Explain what you would do. Laws help protect people and create an organized place to live. Think about all the laws in your community. What do you think is the most important law?

Think about all the different things you can do on a computer. What is your favorite thing to do on the computer? Imagine that someone in your family is sick. Write about some ways that you could take care of them and make them feel better. Would you rather be in a movie or in a music group? Write about the movie or music group that you would want to be a part of.

Imagine that you are going on a trip to the moon and can only bring three things. List three things you would take to the moon and why you would bring these things. There are so many great books. Write about your favorite book and tell why you like this book. There are many books that have been turned into movies. Write about which book you would like to see as a movie.

Camping can be a fun experience. Write about a camping experience you have had or what you think it would be like to go camping. Imagine that you are in a talent show and get to show off something you are good at. Write about what you would do for the talent show. Puzzles can be fun and are a great way to make your brain strong. List as many words as you can using these letters: A T H E D N R G B O C U

Every person is a part of their community. Write about some ways that you keep your community clean. What are some places that you go in your community? Kids breathe about 20 times per minute. Write about some different times that you need to hold your breath and times when you breathe faster. Do you like mornings, afternoons or evenings? Explain.

Imagine that you could trade places with one other person for a day. Write about who you would want to trade places with. Which animal would you want to be and why? Have you ever felt lonely? Write about a time that you have felt alone or scared.
