QUESTION 3 SOALAN 3 CLO1 (a) State THREE (3) main components that can be identified by applying Fleming Right Hand Rule. Nyatakan TIGA (3) komponen utama yang dapat dikenalpasti dengan menggunakan kaedah Hukum Tangan Kanan Fleaming. CLO2 C2 (b) Draw and label a diagram showing Fleaming Right Hand Rule. (c) Calculate the E.M.F generated by 4 pole lap winding armature with 100 slots and 10 conductors per slot when driven at 1800 r.p.m. The flux generated per pole is 0.06Wb. (e) A generator is connected to a 60Ω load, and a current of 8A flows through it. If the armature resistance is rated at 1Ω, determine the following :- Suatu penjana disambungkan kepada beban 60Ω, dan arus 8A mengalir melaluinya. QUESTION 4 SOALAN 4 CLO1 CLO 3 (a) A 250V shunt motor running at 1000 r.p.m speed taking 8A current at full load condition. The armature and shunt resistance is 0.2Ω and 250Ω respectively. Calculate the value of new speed when the motor takes 50A current at full load condition (Assume the flux value remain constant). Sebuah motor pirau 250V berputar pada halaju 1000 p.s.m menerima arus sebanyak 8A pada keadaan beban penuh. Rintangan angker dan pirau masing - masing adalah 0.2Ω dan 250Ω. QUESTION 5 SOALAN 5 CLO 1 (a) An induction motor's rotor can be either wound type or squirrel-cage type. State THREE (3) advantages of squirrel cage induction motor. CLO 1 (b) There are several methods of starting squirrel cage induction motor. State THREE (3) methods commonly used to start the motor.
