MY SCENTSY STORY I m a gal who loves her family, friends, and job. Most people would only dream of getting up on Monday s and getting their kids off to school, then hopping into an office that smells good right? Hehe, well I sure do, even if my office is under the stairs, cramped, and I have toddlers running everywhere!!! I m first and for most a mom to 3 amazing, wonderful, bright, energetic, and caring kids. We are expecting our fourth baby in just 16 weeks!! Not to mention my husband is active duty navy and just finished a very long 18 months of work up s, deployment, and work downs. Our house is always busy but it hasn t stopped me from reaching my goals. Yes it might have taken me a little bit longer, but I will reach all of them. 4 years ago I thought that being successful and having Scentsy as a full-time job was just for special people and heck maybe I m special, but I don t think so. I ve fallen off track many times! And that s what makes my Scentsy journey mine. I have learned in the last four years to get extra snuggles with my kids, live life for the moment, and focus on my business just like it is a business. When I work my business everyday, even if it s just for one hour at nap time, then it will pay off and before I know it. This lady will be a star director!
JUMPSTART YOUR JANUARY ~ RECRUITING! Why is recruiting important? If you don t recruit, you will never have the chance to build a team. Without a team you can t really expect Scentsy family to replace your income and job. IF you recruit amazing things can happen!!! Your team will grow and so will you!! Where do you start?
RECRUITING IS ALL ABOUT WORKING YOUR BUSINESS Work 1-2 months backwards. Keep an ongoing list of all past host and customers, they will make the best recruits. Take advantage of the past few months, check back and see how they are all doing. I try to make my check backs on Mondays. I call at least 10 people. Could get a some additional sales Customers interested in hosting parties And you never know when someone maybe exciting to join your team.
PROMOTE HOSTS Hands down the best way to take advantage of recruiting and monthly sales! You can make 8 sets out of your samplers. Challenge yourself to find 8 hosts when you do call backs. Let them know about double the rewards When they reach $500 in sales. Tell them what they could get if they joined! Shooting Star kits my friends!

REMEMBER TO BE RESPECTFUL Not everyone will want to join. That s ok! A no means lots of things not right now or maybe later. Don t nag or be to pushy I m sneaking, if someone says they want to join my team. I never let them forget about me! I send out monthly flyers with samples, they will always get one. I want them to see I work my business every single month. Remember if you are on Facebook, people see you. They also see the real you, try to keep it nice and sweet on Facebook. You want to think that everyone looking at your personal page may someday want to join your team or become your next best customer.
MY BEST ADVICE FOR RECRUITING BE you! BE real! Show passion about why you love the Scentsy family. Be honest and tell your story! Stay Positive! Host parties, do call backs, and work your business! Some recruits will work and want what you want, others won t. That s ok!! Just don t give up!
