Optionally, it can also fitted with 2nd CAN-Bus or RS485 interface (Gateway-Function). Advantages of graphic programming There is no need for detailed knowledge of the microcontroller and a programming language. This systems provides pure graphical programming of the controller The acquisition and training costs are very small. Preference: With graphic programming the possibilities of bus communication are limited. Advantages of programming with a C-development system Very complex as well as user specific functions can be realized. Preference: An extensive knowledge of C-programming, the HCS12 microprocessor and the circuit is absolutely necessary. Options: Bus CAN (high speed/low speed) or/and RS485; After the assembly the bus option CAN and/or. RS485 cannot be changed anymore. 3Automotive CAN-PLC M2600
Hardware: Connector: 42-pin Tyco MT2 / JPT Supply: Controller supply: 9 30 V The module is protected against reverse polarity and electrical transients. There are three supply pins, one for each quad highside-driver. The pins are rate for 10A, thus the module can supply up to 20A. The quiescent current is smaller than 500µA (stand by). Switch-on: The module is switched on with the ignition signal KL15, and then it can keep itself on with the MC/Power signal. Optional by assembling additional diodes: Switch on the power supply Switch on with power Switch on with CAN low speed Inputs: The module has got 6 analogue inputs. AI0-4 are 0-10V and AI5 is a 30V input. The outputs can also be used as 0-10V analogue inputs, on condition that output is not used. Outputs: Quad Power-Highside-Driver (Type VNQ5050AK), overload and short-circuit protected with a current sense or digital status load. The status can be used to detect an open load or overload condition. The maximum current per HSD is 10A. At 80 C environment temperature each channel can supply up to 2,5A. At 60 C environment temperature and only one channel with high loads, the single output can supply up to 6A.
