Ensure tht the jumper led used etween terminls 3 nd 5 is used only when speified. The following tests re listed in order of prole omponent filure. It is reommended, however, tht ll tests e performed even if fulty omponent is deteted erly in the sequene. This preution will gurd ginst repet filure if there is more thn one filed omponent. Testing Rely No. 2 Connet jumper wire etween terminls 3 nd 5. Test for 12 volts t terminl 2, using only terminl 4 s ground. Is there Voltge indited? Reple rely. Test for ontinuity etween terminls 13 nd 9. Is ontinuity indited? Reple rely. Rely OK Diode No. 1 Diode No. 2 Perform the following diode tests using n ohmmeter set on the Rx1 sle. When testing diodes, tke 2 redings. Note the first reding; then, reverse the meter leds nd, gin, note the reding.if the diode is good, the meter should indite high or infinite resistne (no meter movement) when onneted one wy nd low reding (elow 60 ohms) when onneted the other wy.
