Use a moisture meter to check that the screed is dry. Glue: Only use Genkem QAR179A Apply adhesive using a 1,5mm notched trowel. Note: Contact adhesive may also be used, but only in well-ventilated areas. Reason Any bumps in the screed will show through the vinyl. Otherwise vinyl may expand or shrink before the adhesive dries Adhesive cannot bond to a damp screed. Genkem QAR179A is a specialised Glue that does not allow movement. Allows the correct amount of glue to be applied. Contact adhesive is solvent based, it is harmful for installers to breathe the fumes.
