Stilts Stilts are generally used at low temperature - cone 06, to support pieces that have been glazed on the bottom. The clay the stilts are made from is a high temperature body, but the manufacturer doesn't recommend firing above cone 6 as the nichrome wire may bend. #0... (1/4")... $1.20 #1/2...
