WSA 8 BOX RELE Installation Manual

Description: The WSA Barrier consists of 2 aluminum bars containing electronics and 2 cases with battery adapters. The receiver and the transmitter are both supplied with double photo beams to ensure read accuracy. The radio interface should be connected only at the receiving side because of the transmitting side transfers its information to the receiver through the photo beams. In the receiver side we have alarm and tamper contacts (N.C). A voltage output of the battery at 3.6V or 3.0V. Information of low battery in the receiving or transmitting side is indicated by a beep when you break one or more photo beams. The barrier s photo beams are adjustable. Barrier Components The WSA Battery Box has slots for battery and terminals that work when the cable is connected to the barrier. When using the terminals, use the terminals of the receiver (the side with the programming button [white sticker])

Barrier: Receiver components On the receiver side, the terminals match the terminals on the battery box. The white button labeled as Test is the programming button. This picture also has two photo beams. One with the lens on and one with the lens off. We would take off the lens if the range between the barriers are less than 6 ft.

Barrier: Transmitting components On the transmitting side. This picture has two photo beams. One with the lens on and one with the lens off. We would take off the lens if the range between the barriers are less than 6 ft.

The transmitter and receiver, after 5 seconds of testing will stop flashing its LED and then it will function normally You can connect a transmitter to the outputs of the battery box (receiver side). Closing Barriers and boxes will close the tamper terminals. Barrier Programming 1. Press the program button for 5 seconds 2. The 2 red LEDs will flash and the barrier will automatically attempt to align 3. When the barriers stop beeping, it is aligned and after 5 seconds the one or two LEDs will trigger on 4. By pressing the button (The LEDs will toggle) you can choose to trigger the alarm with one or two photo beams. 5. By covering the rays, you can test each barrier.
