Air Band Cavity Filters Key Features Low Insertion Loss Easy to install 19 Rack Mount High isolation TX-TX MTBF > 500,000 hours Product Description The AFL range of cavity filters is used to provide the low-loss filtering in a transmitter or receiver multicoupling system. The combiners are designed to be easily rack mounted. The high Q cavity is of a silver plated construction, used to secure the ultimate performance with space advantage to obtain approximately 10% improvement in Q for occupied volume. The 8 inch VHF cavity provides a more economic product when the need for a silver plated version does not arise. The AFL UHF air band cavity provides tuneability over the full 225-400 MHz band. Aviation Band Ferrite Isolators Key Features Low Insertion Loss Low VSWR Power Ratings to 250W Narrowband or wideband Reverse power detection available Product Description To complement our range of cavities and cavity combiners, AFL also offer a range of narrowband tuneable and full air-band wideband isolators. The AFL ferrite isolators provide further isolation between the transmiters in a combining system. The isolators are available for internal or external load applications, editions are available with an internal 50 Ohm load with heatsink, or with an external dummy load selected for operation at the power level required. Where higher levels of isolation are required, the AFL dual ferrite isolator will provide up to 45dB for the full VHF airband bandwidth. AFL Proposal Page: 7 of 12
