WASHINGTON, D.C. ACTIVITY PACKET Enclosed in these pages are the activities you are required to complete on our trip to Gettysburg, Washington, D.C., and Arlington National Cemetery. These activities have been designed to help you get the most out of your trip. It is important that you have fun and equally important that you learn about the places we will visit on our trip. The following pages explain the activities you will complete before we leave, while there, and after we return. It is extremely important that you put forth your best efforts when working on these activities. Please keep this packet with you at all times on the trip, as you will need to refer to these pages while you are visiting the sites. Chaperones will not have extra copies. It will be difficult to know what you are seeking if you do not have your booklet. Although these activities will require you to work hard, you will have fun completing them. We hope that this trip and these activities will give you many special experiences that you will remember for the rest of your lives. Have fun! Sincerely, Mrs. Gundling, Mr. McCrodden, and Mr. McNamara 9
