Note This class is for those wishing to work in soft pastel. Oil pastel is very different and will not be covered. Each week we will work in a new medium. This course is great for beginners, providing an introductory framework for seeing and rendering basic shapes, for using line and form, and exploring color theory and the use of color. This technique gives your painting a special kind of texture, and you can achieve great results! Bring your paints, brushes and watercolor paper OR matboards, 10 x 14 or larger, to mount your paintings, plus landscape resource material, and your imagination for this intuitive process!
