ScoreKeeperWEB Youth Game Protocol You must have a live Internet connection to score a game. If the power or Internet connection fails while scoring a game don t panic, all data is stored in a temp file. Once the power / connection is restored you can log back into the game and complete the scoring process from where you left off. Be sure you have the correct game number before you begin scoring the game. If you score a game at the rink on paper with the ScoreKeeper Worksheet you will have 24 hours to enter the game statistics into ScoreKeeperWEB. If there are suspendable penalties game data must be entered with four hours of game conclusion. Once the game data is entered into ScoreKeeperWEB be sure to mail the score sheet to the address printed on the back of the score sheet. Be sure to affix proper US postage. Enter the login user name and password provided by the League. NOTE: Login information (both username and passwords are CaSe SeNsItIvE IfyoudonotseeAMHLinthe blue band you are not at the correct web address. From any Internet web browser (Chrome Explorer or Safari) enter the following web address: www.atlantichockey.org/login (take note of the /login at the end of the web address). This will bring you to the main login screen displayed here. Do not use or enter any information thru AOL s integrated web browser.
To access ScoreKeeperWEB click on the Game Management tab and select ScoreKeeperWEB.
Universal Icon Set used throughout the program. All icons may not be present for all functions. Plus = Add data Pencil = Edit data Trash = Delete Magnifying Glass = Search Dual Arrows = Refresh Enter the game number for the game you wish to score. Click on the Load Game icon. Note: It can take a minute (or longer depending on your Internet speed) to load the game data. Click on OK
The electronic score sheet will load. Double check your game time. NOTE: you do not have to use the clock function of ScoreKeeperWEB. If you elect not to use this option you will have to enter all goal and penalty times manually. Double check that you have the correct game loaded. By default all players (and coaches) not suspended from a previous game will be highlighted withagreencheck.ifaplayeror coach is not participating in the game scratch the player or coach by clicking on the Check Box.
Using the Universal Icon Set add both your home and visitor goalies by clicking on the + icon. Goalie stats will automatically calculate. You do not have to manually enter any of the statistical information. From the roster selection select the goalie that will be playing the game and click on Submit. If you do not change goalies you do not have to enter any other information on the screen. Only enter exit period, time and shots when and if you change goalies.
To add a goal, using the Universal Icon Set click on the + icon. NOTE: Repeat this same process for adding penalties When entering time of goals and penalties be sure to enter wall clock time the system will convert to game time automatically. Enter the information for the goal scored. If you are using the ScoreKeeperWEB clock the time will be automatically entered. Once you have entered the necessary information pertaining to the goal click on Submit.
To add shots Click on the corresponding number of the shot. When a goal is scored you DO NOT have to enter the shot. You can also type totals at the period end should you wish to tally shots on scrap paper.
This is a sample of a completely scored game. You can expand and collapse the dialog boxes if you need more monitor real estate. You can edit or delete incorrect entries by using the Universal Icons when present. If you want to start the scoring process from the beginning with a blank score sheet your can delete all game data by clicking on Clear Game This will delete all information entered, you will have to start from the beginning.
After the Official's review the score sheet and you are sure that the statistics are correct, if you are at the rink either the Scorekeeper or Official's can enter their complete name (first and last), if you are scoring at home from the ScoreKeeper Worksheet be sure to review the game data with the signed worksheet and click on Close Game. Once you click on Close Game the game data is sealed, no further changes can be made. After the game you must complete the close-out process prior to closing the game. Enter the required information. After the Official's review the score sheet if you are at the rink the Official's can enter their complete name (first and last) to digitally sign the score sheet.
When you are done scoring your game be sure to Logout of the system.
