Drawer Construction & Operation Grand scale, ornate carvings and soft, flowing shapes infuse Adagio with opulence, and timeless motifs celebrate the collection s traditional European roots updated for today s lifestyles. The original inspiration for Adagio was a scroll carving which became a recurring theme throughout the collection used on several signature pieces. Adagio s custom antique gold hardware includes a decorative pull with a scroll motif, two sizes of carved floral knobs and a custom drawer pull. 2 hookerfurniture.com Wood & Veneer Construction Many of our furniture items are constructed of hardwood solids and veneers or hand-painted finishes over durable wood products such as medium density fiberboard (MDF) and particle board. MDF and particle board are used in quality furniture for areas that need to be stable, such as large surfaces. These durable wood products do not expand and contract with heat and cold and do not absorb moisture as much as solid wood, which results in stronger and longer-lasting furniture.
