4 i. Design Lasermaxx: Lasermaxx have chosen to use a militaristic looking gun. How Laserforce stacks up: Laserforce uses a stylish, futuristic design which not only appeals to people of all ages, but both genders too. By using a militaristic styled gun, some parents and authorities may perceive this as unsuitable for children and this will result in lost revenue. Laserforce's stylish and futuristic design appeals to the young and the older, as well as both male and female players, therefore maximising your customer base and subsequently revenue. ii. Suit Colour Capabilities Feature Laserforce Lasermaxx Number of colours 9 6 Colours are all interchangeable Yes Yes Colours can be configured to change dynamically depending on players real time ranking during the game Yes Colour can be determined by skill level Yes No Colour can be determined by team Yes Yes Colour can be determined randomly Yes Yes More colours allows for more teams which allows for a wider variety of game types. For example, with 28 players you can play 2 teams of 14, 4 teams of 7 or 7 teams of 4. No When colours are made to change dynamically depending on the players real-time ranking during the game, everyone knows where they are ranking at all times. For example, if a player's suit colour is red, then that player knows (and every other player knows) that they are coming first. If another player over takes that player in number of points then their suit colour will instantaneously change. When suit colours are determined by skill level, every player knows what skill level all their opponents are in the game. This is helpful for when it comes to the use of special abilities such as missiles, which can only be used on players who are level 4 or above.
5 iii. Player Feedback Audio feedback Laserforce Lasermaxx Real-time digital sound effects Yes Limited Real-time digital speech patterns Yes Limited Customisable on-board music Yes No Lock- on tone Yes No Different sound effects for shot and hit Yes No Total capacity for audio files 4 gig Less than 1 gig Speech patterns available in multiple languages Yes? Visual feedback Laserforce Lasermaxx Independent hit zones flash when hit Yes No Muzzle flash Yes No LCD display No Yes Physical feedback Laserforce Lasermaxx Vibrating hit recognition Yes Yes Players need to know what is happening during the game. The more sophisticated the player feedback, the more immersive and enjoyable the playing experience. The more enjoyable the playing experience, the more customers will want to come back, play again and fuel positive word of mouth. Remember - repeat play is the key to earning massive profits in laser tag. Notes: The Lasermaxx vest relies heavily on a little LCD screen located on the top of the chest cover which players must physically look down to read to keep track of what is happening during the game. As a result of the LCD screen, only a limited number of speech patterns and sound effects are provided. Laserforce believes that the use of an LCD screen negatively effects the playing experience by forcing players to physically look down and read a little screen to check their progress. Delivering the player feedback via audio is much smarter because it frees up the players sense of sight to focus on and enjoy the game. As a result, Laserforce provides a whopping 4 gig of stunning digital sound effects, real-time speech patterns and customisable music to fully immerse players in the game.

Notes: The Laserforce battlesuit has more safety features which allow you to safely fit more players into each game, and therefore turn over more revenue. To maximise return on investment, Laserforce recommends allocating one battlesuit for every 10m2 available for a playing arena. v. Maintenance Phaser cord Laserforce Lasermaxx Type of cord Quick change Built in Cost of cord $2.50 >$25 Time it takes to replace cord <1 minute >30 minutes, if a tech is on duty Down time of the vest <1 minute >30 minutes, if a tech is on duty Your investment can not make you money if it is constantly breaking down and sitting out back waiting for repair. It is important to not only choose a laser tag system that is robust, but is also reliable and reputable. Your business and your reputation depend upon it. Notes: The Lasermaxx plastics are robust, which Lasermaxx market to the extent of excluding all other aspects of their equipment. Words commonly used to describe the Laserforce equipment include " robust, reliable, reputable". Laserforce doesn't just promise robust plastics, Laserforce promises unmatched reliability of its entire product.
Laserforce has also patented a fantastic software program called the Engineering Deck which streamlines maintenance by automatically informing managers if any maintenance is required, and if there is, it tells you exactly what needs to be done. Battlesuits won't activate unless the player has paid for a game. This completely eliminates theft and fraud by players and staff stealing and giving out free games. Combined Force - Proxicards can be loaded with credits to play on other games and attractions inside the FEC, purchase food, beverage and any other stocked items. Integrates all the games and attractions inside your entire venue. Figure 1. 10 Experienced laser tag operators know that players like a challenge, and want to be immersed in an experience unlike any other. If a group of people have a choice between playing laser tag in an ordinary playing arena, and one filled with interactivity, challenge and excitement, which venue are they going to choose to go to? Enough said. Notes: Lasermaxx have two options - the Minipod and the Powerpod. These devices can be zapped to score extra points or be programmed to benefit or hinder other players. They are not interactive, only reactive. Laserforce arenas are so smart, and so interactive, players can practically have a game against just the arena itself (Refer to figure 3). Figure 3.
