NOTE: Bolts should remain hand tight until all bolts are installed. STEP 1 Installing the door base (both sides). 1. Locate the outer, roll cage, mounting bolt (passenger side is shown in the illustration). 2. Remove this bolt only and set aside for future use. \ STEP 2 1. Set the door base in place. 2. Align the pre-drilled hole of the door base to the corresponding hole of the roll cage and insert the bolt previously removed. STEP 3 1. Identify the clamp locations. 2. In the following steps, install the clamps in order as shown in this illustration. NOTE: All necessary nuts and bolts for the door base, doors, windshields, and roof are included in the hardware kit.
STEP 4 1. Using the provided M8 x 20 Carriage bolts with Nylock nuts and flat washers, install the upper bracket with two holes. 2. Align the corresponding holes and insert the carriage bolt from the outside. 3. Secure with the provided nut and flat washer. STEP 5 1. Using the provided M8 x 20 Carriage bolts with Nylock nuts and flat washers, install the lower bracket according to the illustration in step 3. 2. Align the corresponding holes and insert the carriage bolt from the outside. 3. Secure with the provided nut and flat washer. STEP 6 1. Using the provided M8 x 20 Carriage bolts with Nylock nuts and flat washers, install the middle, 3 hole bracket, according to the illustration in step 3. 2. Align the corresponding holes and insert the carriage bolts from the outside. 3. Secure with the provided nut and flat washer.
STEP 7 1. Using the provided M8 x 20 Carriage bolts and Nylock nut, install the remaining upper bracket (one hole) according to the illustration in step 3. 2. Align the corresponding holes and insert the carriage bolt from the outside. 3. Secure with the provided nut and flat washer. STEP 8 STEP 9 Repeat Steps 4-7 on the other side of your machine. Installing the Striker post assembly 1. Slide the two halves of the striker post assembly (items) together according to this illustration. NOTE: This illustration is showing the passenger side of the vehicle. STEP 10 1. Using the provided hardware, insert the striker post (A.) into the striker post bracket (B.) (included in the hardware kit). Leave it semi-snug for later adjustment. 2. Place the bracket between the two halves of the assembly (B.) and insert the provided 5/16 x 1 ½ Hex Head bolts with Nylock nuts and flat washers, according to this illustration.
STEP 11 1. Place the windshield bracket on the outside of the bracket assembly according to this illustration. 2. Be sure that the offset of the hole is on the bottom portion of the bracket as shown. Leave the bolts semi-snug for later adjustment. NOTE: Passenger side is shown. STEP 12 Repeat on the other side of your machine. STEP 13 Installing the rear windshield. 1. Using the provided Nylock nuts with flat washers, install the windshield mounting clips to the studs located on the middle bracket as shown in this illustration. 2. Tighten the nuts just enough to hold the clips in position. NOTE: This view is from the driver side of the vehicle. STEP 14 1. Insert the 4 provided ¼-20 x 1 Hex Head bolts with Nylock nuts and flat washers from the outside into the positions shown. Be sure to use a flat washer on both inside and outside of the windshield. 2. The top bolts will be installed in a later step. 3. Leave bolts hand tight until the top bolts are added.
STEP 15 Installing the front windshield. 1. Place four of the provided plastic tube clamps (item) in the general area shown in this illustration. 2. The passenger side is not shown but will install in the same area as the driver side. STEP 16 1. Set the windshield with bottom seal on the hood and align the corresponding holes. Some adjustment of the striker post assembly might be required. 2. Insert the provided ¼-20 x 1 Hex Head bolts with flat washer. The flat washer goes on the outside of the windshield, as shown. 3. Repeat on the driver side of your machine. STEP 17 1. Using the provided¼-20 x 1 Hex Head bolts with flat washer bolts, align the remaining holes in the windshield with corresponding holes in the plastic clamps. 2. Leave bolts hand tight, further adjustment may be needed on the striker post assembly.
STEP 18 Installing the roof. 1. On the upper two hole bracket (located on the door base), and using the provided nuts, install the remaining metal windshield clips as shown. 2. Repeat on the driver side of your machine. NOTE: This illustration shows the roof already installed. This will actually be done in the next few steps. STEP 19 1. Set the rear panel (item) of the roof section in place, as shown, and align the corresponding holes of the roof, the rear windshield, and the mounting clip. Some adjustment from the inside may be required. 2. Insert the provided¼-20 x 1 Hex Head bolts with flat washer. STEP 20 1. Install the plastic tube clamps onto the roll cage as shown. 2. Repeat on the other side (driver side shown here).
STEP 21 1. Set the mid-section of the roof in place as shown. 2. Align the holes of the rear panel with the corresponding holes of the mid-section and insert the provided ¼-20 x 3/4 Hex Head bolts with flat washers. NOTE: Allow bolts to remain hand tight, later adjustment will be required. STEP 22 1. Set plastic tube clamps (item) in place as shown. NOTE: This step can be performed before or after the front roof panel (item) is set in place. Shown here already in place. STEP 23 1. Set front roof panel in place, overlapping the mid-section. 2. Align the corresponding holes of both panels and secure them using the provided ¼-20 x 1 Hex Head bolts with Nylock nut flat washer. The two outside holes will be secured through the previously set tube clamps mentioned in step 20. Secure the two interior holes using the provided ¼-20 x 3/4 Hex Head bolts with Nylock nuts and flat washers. 3. Flat washer are to be used on both sides of the panel.
STEP 24 1. Set the door in place on its hinges as shown. 2. Repeat on the driver side. STEP 25 1. Align the striker (already in the door) with the striker post assembly as shown. Start with the striker post itself in the furthest, outside position. Some adjustment of the striker post assembly, up and down, may be needed to align the centers. 2. Once aligned, tighten the three bolts on the striker post assembly. 3. Closed the door to ensure that it latches. 4. To seal the door tighter, adjust the striker post to the inside until satisfied. 5. Repeat for the other side. 1. Once you are satisfied with the door fit, make all other fitting adjustments and tighten all the bolts. 2. Start with the front windshield at the striker post assembly and work your way up and over the machine. 3. Tighten the roof bolts. 4. Tighten the rear windshield bolts. 5. Make any other necessary adjustments and double check all other bolts. 6. Get out there and have some FUN!!
