Set the template size and template file name, referring to the following: Paper size Template size 1) (horizontal vertical pixels) File name 2) 8 10 2,472 3,056 watermark_8x10.png 8 12 2,472 3,660 watermark_8x12.png 8 10+ 2,472 3,116 watermark_8x10+.png 4 8 2,472 1,220 watermark_4x8.png 6 8 2,472 1,830 watermark_6x8.png 5 7 2,136 1,558 watermark_5x7.png For information on template file format, refer to the following: Gradation: 8 bit 3) Color: Gray scale File format: PNG (no interlace) 4) 1) Follow the horizontal and vertical size as shown in the table above. Prints will not be correct if a template is rotated from the original position. 2) Use the file names listed in the table. A file will not be recognized as a template if it assigned an unregistered name. 3) The printer performs double-gradation processing on a template with a threshold of 128, and produces prints with a watermark. When using a multiple-tone image as a template, it is recommended to first create a double-tone image (black and white) with simulated multiple-gradation processing, and then save the template file in 8-bit gray scale. 4) A file in interlaced format is not supported. Set noninterlaced in the PNG option menu when using photoediting software. s Areas within 48 pixels of the top/bottom edge, and 64 pixels from the left/right edge of a template may not print. Carry out a trial printing before using a watermark template. In some template designs, scratches may be printed on a watermark. To avoid this, reduce the black area in the template or change the design layout of the template. Saving Templates Save a created template in any folder of your computer. Save all the templates corresponding to the required paper sizes in the folder. The unit automatically selects a proper template according to the paper size to be printed. Provide a new template with the proper file name corresponding to its paper size (refer to Creating Templates ).
