Nom Nom Nom! By Leslie Calvert Description: This game is loosely based off of the popular video game Katamari Damacy. It takes the idea of collecting things to become gre ater and greater. The bigger you are, the bigger things you can collect. In my game two teams compete against each other as two young snakes. As you go through the game you eat various types of animals. The more animals you eat the bigger you get. But watch out! If you try eating an animal bigger then you could get hurt! Object of Game/How to Win: Either be the fi rst team to successfully eat a human or have accumulated the most points by the end of the game. Contents: 1 Game Board 2 Character Bits 2 Snake Stomach Sheets 120 Playing Cards Game Preparation: 1. Each player picks a random card from the oving deck of cards. The player who draws the highest card gets to decide which role they want to be on their team. Their team also gets to go fi rst. 2. The player who draws the higher card on the other team gets to decide which role they fi rst want to play. **Keep in mind that players will be switching roles every level gained with their teammate** Game Play: Starting Your Turn/Team Work 1. Each team has two roles. One player will be in charge of movement, while the other player is in charge of the stomach of their snake. 2. Each member of the team gets 5 cards in their hands that correlate to their separate roles. 3. When a team advances to another level, the roles switch. 4. Team members can strategize with each other as long as they do not reveal the cards within their hands. If this occurs, the team which revealed their hand is disqualifi ed and loses automatically. 5.Every turn each player must draw a card from their respective role and play a card as well. The person in charge of movement gets to draw/play fi rst.

Playing the Game 1.The player who is in charge of movement will be the one moving your character bit along the board. To do so, they will be playing a movement card each turn to determine where your character will go. 2. When you are moving along the board and come to a crossroads, it is your decision which way you would like to continue moving. 3. There are different spots on the board where your team can get a movement card, a food item, or a specialty move. 4. If you land on a specialty space do as is stated below (also see symbol guide attached): a.super Speed = Play another movement card immediately. b. Level = ove your character bit to the start of the next level and do what is on that spot, if there is anything on it. c. Level = ove your character bit to the start of the current level you are in. You do not get to collect, however, a card or specialty space on the spot you move to. d. Go back to Start = Immediately go back to start and begin again at Level 1. You must then move all of your food cards from the snake stomach sheet to the food discard pile of the game board. e. Hunger = The person in charge of the stomach draws another food card. f. Antsy = The person in charge of moving draws another card. g. Lose a Turn = Your team loses their next turn. 5.If you run out of cards in any of the decks then shuffl e up the discards on the game board and reuse them. Do not reshuffl e the discards on the snake stomach sheets. 6.You can run into/hit your opponent. If you merely cross paths and pass them, your opponent is merely bumped back one space. However, if you land on the same spot as your opponent, they have to go back to the beginning of the level they are in. Using the Stomach/Earning Points 1. If you are in charge of the stomach and food cards you are going to be the one earning points for your team. 2. ood cards are what give you points. You can only get points from a food item that is available in your level or was in a level you already went through. The food in each level are as follows: a. Level 1 - The Tank: i. Cricket (+1 point) = Can move 1 additional space per turn ii. aggot (+2 points) = Can digest level 4 animals b. Level 2 - The Room: i. ouse (+5 points) = One additional spot in stomach ii. Rat (+6 points) = Can digest crickets iii. Rabbit (+10 points) = ultiply movement by 2 c. Level 3 - The House:

i. Pizza (+11 points) = Takes up 2 spots in stomach ii. Cat (+12 points) = Will eat mice and rats in stomach iii. Dog (+15 points) = Scares cats out of stomach d. Level 4 - The Streets: i. Raccoon (+20 points) = Will eat everything inside the stomach ii. Human (Win/Lose) = If you eat a human when you are in level 4, or if you have maggots in your stomach, then you win. But if you eat a human when in any other level and do not have maggots in stomach then you lose. 3. If a food card is played but cannot be eaten at your current level it is immediately discarded into the discard pile on the game board and not counted. You also lose your next turn. 4. In each level you have a certain amount of spots available in the stomach that can be fi lled with food, which is marked by numbers on the snake stomach sheet. 5. If the stomach that is allocated for your level becomes full and you want to play a card then a card within it must be discarded. 6.You earn points when an animal is pushed out of (discarded from) the stomach. These food cards are to be stored in the discard pile located near the tail of the snake. Your points on the food cards will be counted up at the end of the game if a team hasn t won yet (i.e. hasn t successfully eaten a human). 7. In order to win by eating a human, the human only has to be inside your stomach, but a human cannot be eaten unless you are in level 4 or have maggots inside your stomach. Allocation of Playing Cards ood Cards: (60) Cricket (+1): 15 aggots (+2): 6 ouse (+5): 8 Rat (+6): 7 Rabbit (+10): 5 Pizza(+12): 6 Cat (+15): 4 Dog (+18): 4 Raccoon (+20): 3 Human (Win/Lose): 2 ovement Cards: (60) ove ahead 1: 10 ove ahead 2: 15 ove ahead 3: 10 ove ahead 5: 5 Go back 1: 10 Go back 2: 7 Go back 3: 2 Go back 5: 1
