Please complete Pages 2 & 3 and bring them with you during registration on May 13 th 9 TO 11am Important Show Information Page 4 Spring 2013 Membership Show Entry Form Page 5 Mail to Linda Smith by April 29, 2013 Changes to the artwork submittal after receipt by Linda Smith will require a phone call and approval. There are many pieces of documentation that are required to participate in this event. We need sufficient time to alter paperwork in order to admit altered information. Please take the time to check your application for accuracy. EXHIBITION DATES: 5/17/13 7/7/13 DROP-OFF DATE: 5/13/13 PICK-UP DATE: 7/8/13 SALE OF ARTWORK A 30% commission will be retained by the Bank of America Gallery for all works sold. Artists may display work that is not for sale. A price list is required if art is to be sold. BANK OF AMERICA THREE STAGES REQUIREMENTS The Gallery will use a great degree of care handling artwork in its possession. The Gallery is insured while the work is on the premises. The artist/s is responsible for damage, theft, or destruction during transportation to and from the Gallery Each artist exhibiting in the Gallery must have signed and returned a Hold Harmless Agreement prior to the exhibit. That form is included in your packet. ARTWORK DISPLAY REQUIREMENTS Please have your work display-ready. All artwork must be Originals no reproductions or Giclee s, Photography must be a signed and numbered edition if it is produced in multiples (i.e. - not the one and only image to be produced ) Photography can be enhanced using computer programs to push color, such as HDR images, Infa red camera s, we do not have a category for computer generated art. You are welcome to submit up to 2 pieces of artwork. Acceptance into the show will be based upon available space. Indicate preference in artwork choice by circling 1 st or 2 nd choice on the tag for the back of the artwork. Artwork that exceeds the size limitation will be accepted on a case by case basis determined by space availability. 2D Artwork: Artwork must be ready for display. All artwork must be framed unless it is a gallery wrapped canvas and the image extends to the back of the artwork. Each piece to be hung must have a wire on the back to allow proper hanging and securing of the piece. Ends of wire must be taped. Each piece must be marked for identification with title and a value for insurance purposes. Weight of artwork must not exceed 125 lbs. Height and width of artwork must not exceed 36 x 36 before framing. Artwork exceeding 24 x 36 will have Plexi-glass or acrylic sheeting versus glass if display under glass is necessary. 3D Artwork: Weight of artwork must not exceed 50 lbs per section and no more than 150 lbs total. Height of artwork must not exceed 8 feet. Width of artwork must not exceed 6 ft. in any direction. Artwork must work with provided gallery pedestals (12 pedestals: 2-4.5ft, 4-4ft, 4-3ft, 2-2.5ft. All pedestals 15 X15 ) or have its own display.

LOS RIOS COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT ARTWORK AGREEMENT 1. I,, hereby lend the Artwork identified below to the Los Rios Community College District, Folsom Lake College (LRCCD), for the Exhibition specified below. I represent and warrant that the Artwork is my original work product and that I own all rights, title and interest in the Artwork, including all copyright and/or other intellectual property rights in that Artwork. 2. I understand that LRCCD does not have insurance for the Artwork and will not insure the Artwork. 3. I agree that I am solely responsible for any and all loss or damage to the Artwork while it is in the possession of LRCCD. 4. In consideration of my being allowed to participate in this Exhibition, I hereby release LRCCD, its trustees, administrators, faculty, staff, volunteers, agents and employees from any and all liabilities, damages, claims, suits, legal proceedings, actions, judgments and costs including reasonable attorney s fees for all claims arising out of any loss or damage to the Artwork. 5. I am solely responsible for delivering my artwork to Folsom Lake College and picking it up at the conclusion of the Exhibition. Folsom Lake College shall hang or place the Artwork in the Exhibition. Without further notice, I authorize LRCCD to dispose of the Artwork if it is not picked up by the agreed upon pickup date below. 6. I understand that I may offer the Artwork for sale. If offered for sale, I agree to pay a 30% commission to Folsom Lake College for all works sold. This commission may be retained out of proceeds received at the College. A price list is required if artwork is to be sold. 7. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between me and LRCCD and supersedes all prior oral or written agreements. No amendment of this Agreement shall be effective unless it is in writing and signed by both parties. Neither party shall assign this Agreement without prior written approval of the other party. Both parties shall be independent contractors with each other. El Dorado Hills Membership Show 2013 Bank of America Gallery Three Stages at Folsom Lake College May 17 thru July 7, 2013 IMPORTANT SHOW INFORMATION The show committee is very eager to make our next show a successful one. This letter is intended to give you important information regarding the show process. Theme: Uncovering El Dorado County -- El Dorado County is rich in vineyards and wineries, oak filled hills and gold mining history. It is also where you can experience a wide variety of local color. Look for abandoned trucks, waterfowl, deer, coyotes, historic buildings and more. Don t limit yourself, think beyond the traditional landscape. Artwork that does not adhere to theme will be accepted. Biography: Create a 1 page biography: include a picture of yourself on the bio if possible. We will put your information in a binder. Bring bio with you during registration/drop off of art work. Information cards: A business size card will be attached to each piece of art work, the information will include the Title, Medium, Size, Price and Name of artist. Price of art work: The B of A Gallery will take 30% of all sales. Do not include tax in the price, the gallery will calculate that for you. Sold art work will not be released until the end of show. If your art work is not for sale, indicate NFS on entry form. Registration of art work: All work must be delivered to the gallery, inside Three Stages building on May 13 between 9 to 11am. You do not have to buy a parking ticket if you are going to drop off your work and park on the curb for less than 15 mins. Otherwise, you will need to buy a parking ticket of $1.00 to park longer. Pick up art work On Monday, July 8 between 9 11am. If you are unable to do this, make arrangements for someone to pick up your work. For security reasons, we will need the name of the person who is picking up your work. There will be a $5.00/day charge for all art work not picked up. Advertise the show Mark your calendar and invite your family and friends to visit the show. The gallery will be open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 to 2:00pm and 1 hr. prior to every event. Awards Reception Will be May 17 at 6:30 to 7pm in in the B of A Gallery of The Three Stages building. Invite all of your friends to attend. Immediately after the B of A gallery reception, plan to attend the EDH Open Studio Tour reception at Gallery 48 in Folsom (6 to 8 pm. ) Entry Form; Due April 29, 2013, late entries will not be accepted. If interested, those entries received by March 1 with high resolution (1MB) jpg picture emailed to Joey Cattone, may be used for EDHAA advertisement/facebook/website purposes. Watermark will be applied to insure copyright if used online. Awards and Judge: Categories with 5 or less entries will be awarded 1 st place only. Categories with 5-10 entries will be awarded 1 st and 2 nd place. Categories with 11 or more entries will receive 1 st, 2 nd, and 3 rd place.
