Caspar Elias Diller III (1766-1825) Caspar Diller III was born February 28 th 1766 1 to Caspar Elias Diller II in Millerstown Lancaster County Pennsylvania. When Caspar was seven years old in 1773 his father brought the family to Middleton Township Cumberland County Pennsylvania. Caspar married Anna Christina Wolf about 1790 in Cumberland County Pennsylvania. Christina was born April 17 th 1772 to Leonard and Margaret Wolf. Caspar built the family home about 1791, which is located on present day Stought Road, off Route 74, near Churchtown located in Monroe Township 2 Cumberland County Pennsylvania. Caspar died September 16 th 1825. 3 His will was written August 8 th 1825, and proven on September 26 th 1825. His son David, and son-in-law Fredrick Goodyear, were the executors of the will, which was witnessed by Rudolph Krysher and Peter Bricker. 4 Christiana died April 27 th 1834. 5 They were both laid to rest in the Old Graveyard at 325 Old Stone House Road in Churchtown located in Monroe Township Cumberland County Pennsylvania. 6 Caspar and Christina had nine children. 7 i. Sarah (Sally) Jane Diller was born January 26 th 1792. She married Christian Richwine February 26 th 1880. Christian was born November 16 th 1785. Sarah died February 26 th 1870, at the age of 79 years and 1 month. Christina died November 16 th 1871. 8 They were both laid to rest in the Mt. Zion Cemetery located near Churchtown in Monroe Township Cumberland County Pennsylvania. 9 ii. iii. iv. Rachel Diller was born February 2 nd 1794. She married Fredrick Goodyear. 10 Fredrick was born January 3 rd 1787, and died December 18 th 1849. Rachel died August 1 st 1870. She and her husband were laid to rest in the Churchtown United Brethren Church, located ½ mile from Churchtown in Monroe Township Cumberland County Pennsylvania. 11 Catherine Diller (Aunt Catie) was born September 18 th 1795. She did not marry, and she died at 82 years, 4 months, and 2 days old on January 20 th 1878. She was laid to rest in the Mt. Zion Cemetery located near Churchtown in Monroe Township Cumberland County Pennsylvania. 12 Daniel Diller was born February 28 th 1798. Daniel married Susan Deihl 1832 in New Oxford Adams County Pennsylvania. Susan was born July 30 th 1803 to John Peter Diehl and Susanna Krantz in New Oxford. Daniel died May 31 st 1861, and Susan on December 25 th 1868. 13 v. Rebecca Margaret Diller was born January 1 st 1800. She married William Darr. 14 William was born July 11 th 1798. William died April 26 th 1862, and Rebecca died April 19 th 1886. 15 They were both laid to rest in the Mt. Zion Cemetery located near Churchtown in Monroe Township Cumberland County Pennsylvania. 16 vi. Leonard Diller was born August 27 th 1803. He married Sarah Ann Smith, who was born August 15 th 1807. Leonard was 62 years, 11 months, 3 days old when he died July 30 th 1866. Sarah Ann died April 17 th 1886. 17 They were both laid to rest in the Mt. Zion Cemetery located near Churchtown in Monroe Township Cumberland County Pennsylvania. 18

vii. Solomon Henry Diller was born September 4 th 1806 to Caspar Elias Diller III in Allen Township Cumberland County Pennsylvania. He married Sarah Elizabeth Stevens November 11 th 1832 at Carlisle, Cumberland County Pennsylvania by Rev John S. Ebaugh. 19 Sarah was born October 28 th 1809. Solomon died September 21 st 1891, and Sarah on December 28 th 1891. 20 They were both laid to rest in the Mt. Zion Cemetery located near Churchtown in Monroe Township Cumberland County Pennsylvania. 21 viii. Samuel Diller was born June 18 th 1811 22 to Caspar Elias Diller III and Anna Christina Wolf 23 in Allen Township, present day Monroe Township, near Churchtown located in Cumberland County Pennsylvania. Samuel married Catherine Richwine of Cumberland County on September 4 th 1828, most likely in the Diller hone, and recoded at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Carlisle, Cumberland County Pennsylvania. 24 Catherine was born March 16 th 1811. Samuel died March 1 st 1873, and Catherine on January 17 th 1887. They both laid to rest in the Mt. Zion Cemetery located near Churchtown in Monroe Township Cumberland County Pennsylvania. 25 ix. David Diller was born July 2 nd 1811. He married Harriet Shaefer on January 26 th 1834 at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Carlisle, Cumberland County Pennsylvania. 26 Harriet was born December 16 th 1818. Harriet died on February 17 th 1874, and David on May 14 th 1874. They both laid to rest in the Mt. Zion Cemetery located near Churchtown in Monroe Township Cumberland County Pennsylvania. 27
