Welcome to the Break Time Help File. This help file contains instructions for the following games: Memory Loops Genius Move Neko Puzzle 5 Spots II Shape Solitaire Click on the game title on the left to jump to the instructions.
MEMORY LOOPS Welcome to Memory Loops. Memory Loops is an intense concentration matching game. Your goal is to match the hidden graphics under the fast moving spheres. How To Play Try to stop the rolling spheres from reaching the exit gate. Click on a sphere to reveal the underlying picture, then click another sphere to try and match it. If you match, the spheres disappear. If they don t match, keep trying. Time is of the essence because you don t want the spheres to roll into the gate, you will lose. Also you get time bonuses for matching quickly. And if you get 2 or more matches in a row, you will earn extra points.
Bonus Spheres There are bonus spheres located throughout, match the picture beneath it with another and you earn the bonus action. Bonus actions include Reveals all hidden pictures underneath spheres for a short time Reveals and removes all matching pictures to the one underneath this bonus sphere. Stops the movement of the balls for a short period of time to give you more matching time. Rolls the spheres back from the exit gate, giving you more time to make more matches and solve the level. Explodes and removes adjacent spheres matching to the picture underneath this bonus sphere.
GENIUS MOVE Welcome to Genius Move. Genius Move is a vexing strategy game. You re in the North Pole with your friendly penguin helper, moving huge ice blocks to get to each new game level. Think before you move, because the blocks must be moved in the right sequence to solve each level. How To Play Your objective is to illuminate and remove the ice cubes by having your penguin push them onto the lights. Moving Your Penguin You can move your penguin either with the arrow keys on your keyboard or your mouse. To use the arrow keys, simply press the arrow key in the direction you want your penguin to move. You will need to press the arrow key for each space you want him to move. To use the mouse, left click your mouse on the tile where you want your penguin to move to, keep in mind that this can only be in a straight line. By using the mouse, the penguin will keep going until something stops him.
Rules & Tips - Ice cubes must be moved one at a time. Your penguin is not strong enough to move more than one. In cases where there are two ice cubes together, you must separate them before trying to move one. - Every level is solvable. If you make a wrong move, press UNDO. Or you can also restart the entire level. - For every 10 levels you complete, you get a JOKER. You can use a joker to skip a level. - To end a game or change options, press the ESCAPE key to access the menu. Maneuver up and down the menu by using the arrow keys on your keyboard and then pressing enter.
NEKO PUZZLE Welcome to Neko Puzzle. Try to control this crazy cat as you plot your way through each level of this logic game. Your cat needs to collect items on each screen to progress. Be careful, if you get them in the wrong order, you ll get stranded and won t be able to complete the puzzle. How To Play Your objective is to maneuver your cat around the play area to collect each item. Collect them in the right order and you proceed to the next screen. Moving Your Cat You can move your cat with the arrow keys on your keyboard. Rules & Tips - Guide your cat carefully, if you jump to the wrong item, you may not be able to finish the puzzle level. - If your cat doesn t run to a specific item, he could run away, off the board. - Finish levels quickly and you receive extra bonus points. - Let your cat run away or spend too long on a level and you ll lose a cat life.
5 SPOTS II Welcome to 5 Spots II. Test your powers of observation with this ever popular picture puzzle game with four ingenious variations. Game Modes There are four game modes in 5 Spots II a mode for any member of the family. SUPER FUN CLASSIC MODE Find 5 differences between the pictures before time runs out. Left-click on the errors with your mouse. Time is limited so work quickly. Your time is decreased for every incorrect click and you are given less time to complete the puzzles as the levels progress. You start the game with 5 Jokers (or hints). Each joker reveals an error in the puzzle. You will receive a bonus joker after every 10 levels completed.
FIND THE MONKEY MODE Find the well hidden monkeys in each of the pictures. Left-click on the hidden monkeys in each of the pictures. Your time is decreased for every incorrect click and you are given less time to complete the puzzles as the levels progress. There are no jokers in this game mode. Below are the examples of the hidden monkey graphics. LEISURE MODE No pressure casual game play. Try to find the differences in the pictures quickly. Time is tracked for record keeping and player ranking. Incorrect clicks add 10 seconds to your score. You have five jokers so use them wisely. PUZZLE MODE Find the 5 missing pieces of the puzzle by clicking on the picture pieces on the right that will fit into the empty spots of the original picture on the left. You get five jokers, each joker will put one piece of the picture back in place. For every 10 levels completed, you get a bonus joker. Your time is decreased for every incorrect click and you are given less time to complete the puzzles as the levels progress.
SHAPE SOLITAIRE Welcome to Shape Solitaire. Shape Solitaire is a distinct new twist on classic solitaire. Your goal is to fill in all the open spaces on a picture with playing cards. The tricky part is that you can only place a card next to another that has one less or one greater in value. How To Play Your objective is to pick cards from a rolling line of cards and place them onto the play board. Think strategically because you can only place cards next to another that has a value one great or one less to the adjacent card. Rules & Tips - Place cards in the right place, with ability to play off multiple sides of one card an you can score combination points. - Three levels of difficulty to challenge and entertain you. - Play against the clock for a good challenge or play a casual game with unlimited time. - Bonus points for playing quickly and using special card combinations.
SUPPORT INFORMATION System Requirements 500Mhz Pentium or better Windows 2000/ME/XP/Vista 256MB RAM or higher 100MB free hard drive space DirectX compatible video and sound cards CD-Rom / Mouse / Keyboard Installing Break Time on your PC 1. Insert the Break Time CD into your CD-ROM drive 2. If your computer is configured to detect a newly inserted CD, the Autorun menu will appear. If the Autorun menu does not appear after a few moments, click on the Start button, then select Run, and type D:\setup.exe (where D is the letter of your CD-ROM drive). If you are not sure of your CD-ROM drive s letter, double-click on the My Computer icon. 3. Click on the Install option, and follow the onscreen instructions for installation and setup. 4. Upon successful completion of the install, you can launch the program either from the Break Time icon on your desktop OR by going to Start/Programs/On Hand Software/Brain Games Break Time. REPORTING BUGS If you find a bug in our software, it would be helpful if you reported the bug to us via email to info@onhandsoftware.com To report a bug, please email us with BUG REPORT in the subject line. Please include the following information in your email: What operating system you are using The software name and version # from the CD (ie PC103-01) The error message A brief description of what you were doing when the error appeared (ie did it happen upon launching of the game, or on a specific game level) Your name and email address so we can contact you when the bug is fixed. When reporting bugs, detailed emails are necessary so we have a written record of the information our programmers will need to fix the problem.
