Islamic Book Fair Fundraising Program Introduction & FAQ Earn Money for your Islamic School or Organization and Provide a Great Service to Parents & Students! Help foster a lifelong love of learning with your children! Book fairs are an extremely eퟂ ective way to bring great literature to students. By showcasing a broad array of Islamic kids books and products, you help your school earn money through a mutually beneퟠ cial fundraiser, and your students & parents can easily acquire some beneퟠ cial products. IslamicBookstore.com's Book Fair Program is a great way to do this! And with our guaranteed return policy, you don't have to worry about buying products you can't sell. Beneퟠ ts of Hosting an Islamic Book Fair Book fairs provide easy access to a wide assortment of books. They give kids a choice in what inspires them to read more.

Book fairs involve family, which demonstrates to kids that reading and learning about their Deen is important. Fundraiser - All proퟠ ts from the sales of products goes to your full-time or weekend Islamic school, masjid, or other organization. We ship your school, upon approved credit and payment of any security deposit, all the items you choose, with free UPS shipping (to any USA address). 3. You promote, display, and sell all the products, at your location. You'll collect payment from your fair visitors. 4. At the conclusion of your fair, you submit payment for any and all items sold or you desire to keep and purchase. Unsold or to-be-returned products are then returned by you to us in same new condition as received, along with payment.

How much can my school earn? This often depends on how many students, parents, and visitors you have, and how long you hold the fair for. Detailed Q & A Q. We are interested in having a fair on this future date. How soon should we contact you? A. It is best to let us know at least 4 to 6 weeks ahead of time of your anticipated fair date, so that we can arrange all books to be in-stock and ready to ship to you. Books should arrive to you at a minimum a week (slightly more is better) before your fair launch. Q. How much does each book cost, and what should we sell each book for? A. The price we charge you is our online sale price, or the price we quote to you on your invoice. We may then advise you our suggested selling price for your customers. Generally, recommend you keep your proퟠ t margin around 25% or above. You are welcome to increase or decrease this % as you see ퟠ t. Fair visitors beneퟠ t from having a very wide range of books displayed in one place, do not have to pay shipping, and get the beneퟠ t of helping to fundraise for your organization. Q. What is the best way to market our Islamic Book Fair?

A. We recommend letting every one of your students, parents, teachers, and supporters know about the fair. This includes any type of ퟥ yer or insert provided to each student, word of mouth, posters created by the students, and email(s) sent to your parent & staퟂ mailing lists, repeated posts on your Facebook and other social media outlets, and more. Q. Is this a real life book fair, or an online book fair? A. This is a real life, in person, physical book fair. Not online. Q. Do we have to pay shipping, once the fair ends, for unsold books to be returned to IslamicBookstore.com? A. Yes. IslamicBookstore.com pays all shipping to your location, and you would be responsible for any return shipping fees. (We can arrange very low, special-arragement UPS shipping prices for any returns you make.) Q. How does the payment arrangement work? A. With a $250 security deposit, we will ship all books to you (upon approved credit or with a credit-card guarantee by you). You will have your book fair, and upon completion, you will be required to submit payment, within 10 business days, of books sold or those you wish to keep. Returned books should be sent back to IslamicBookstore.com via courier. (e.g. UPS). Your credit card will not be charged if payment (via your check, money order, or credit card) is received in a timely, 10-day window after the completion of your book fair. Q. Who chooses the books you will send, us or IslamicBookstore.com? A. Since we have been in business for over 18 years, we have a pretty good idea on the best, most popular books parents and students enjoy. However, we will work with you to provide the ideal book selection for your book fair. This is often also decided by the number of expected visitors and the size of your student and parent body. Q. How do we start then? A. Fill out our sign-up form on our Book Fair site on IslamicBookstore.com to get registered. One of our representatives then will contact you to answer any questions. If everything looks good and promising, and you d like to go ahead with your Book Fair, we will begin the process of assembling the book list from our experience and your feedback, submitting the complete list of items to you for review. Once approved, and after $250 security deposit is paid, packages will ship to you via UPS in the timeframe you require ahead of your anticipated book fair date. Q. What do we do once the books arrive? A. 1) Using the packing list & invoice paperwork we provide, check that all books on our list are received by you in good condition. (If anything is missing or not correct, let us know via email or phone). 2) Once you re ready, set up your book

fair area with tables, table covers (if desired), any promotional posters you have. 3) Set up the books in an attractive, user-engaging fashion. All books will have price stickers already on them (if desired). 4) Arrange a cash register or other cash-receipt mechanism to take payments from book fair customers. 5) Once ퟠ nished, pack up all books by comparing what is left-over with what is on the invoice/packing-list provided by you. Q. How do we return unsold books to IslamicBookstore.com? A. Pack up in unused, corrugated carton boxes any unsold or books to be returned. Let us know the weight of each box, and we will email you return UPS labels. (We have specially discounted rates for UPS shipping.) Q. Do you have Arabic books? A. No. At this time, we primarily carry only English or English/Arabic books. Q. How long should the book fair run? A. This depends on the school. Generally, a 1-week book fair works pretty well. Q. Is there a minimum or maximum book order (either in the $ size or # of books)? A. This is determined on a case-by-case basis. In general, within reason, there is no ퟠ xed limit. Q. Do you have a sample book list that you have prepared for other Islamic institutions hosting book fairs? A. Yes, we can provide this. Q. Do you provide any physical display items?
