Savannah arden Quilt 1 Sewing nstructions 1. Place (1) 9 ⅞ abric square on top of (1) 9 ⅞ abric square, right sides together. Draw a line across the diagonal of the top square (ig. 1). Sew ¼ away from each side of the drawn diagonal line (ig. 1). Cut the two squares apart on the drawn diagonal line (ig. 2) to make (2) units (ig. 3). Trim the units to measure 9 ½ square. Repeat to make (10) units total. make 10 Page 2 8. Repeat Step 1 using (9) 3 ⅞ abric squares and (9) 3 ⅞ abric squares to make (18) 3 ½ units (ig. 7). 9. Cut (2) side borders from the long strip. Sew (1) border to each side of the quilt top. 29. Measure the top and bottom of the quilt top. Cut (1) top and (1) bottom border from the long strip. Sew the borders to the top and to the bottom of the quilt top. 30. Measure the sides of the quilt top. Cut (2) side borders from the long strip. Sew (1) border to each side of the quilt top. 31. Measure the top and bottom of the quilt top. Cut (1) top and (1) bottom border from the long strip. Sew the borders to the top and to the bottom of the quilt top. 32. Layer and quilt as desired. 33.
