PENYELEWENGAN AKADEMIK PERATURAN PEPERIKSAAN KOLEJ MULTIMEDIA 1. ARAHAN : JAWAB EMPAT (4) SOALAN SAHAJA (100 MARKAH) INSTRUCTION : ANSWER FOUR (4) QUESTIONS ONLY (100 MARKS) Soalan / Question 1 (a). Terdapat dua (2) hukum penting yang ada kaitan dengan aruhan elektromagnet. Senaraikan dan jelaskan hukum-hukum tersebut. There are two (2) important laws that have relation with induction electromagnet. List down and explain the laws. (4 markah / marks) (b). Sebuah motor aruhan 1500 W dengan faktor kuasanya 0.75 mengekor digabungkan dengan motor segerak 500 VA dan faktor kuasanya 0.65 mendulu. Dapatkan : An induction motor 1500 W which have 0.75 power factor lagging are combined with synchronous motor 500 VA and 0.65 power factor leading. Get : i) Segitiga kuasa bagi motor aruhan. / Power triangle for induction motor. ii) Segitiga kuasa bagi motor segerak. / Power triangle for synchronous motor. iii) Jumlah segitiga kuasa. / Total of power triangle. iv) Nilai pemuat untuk membetulkan keseluruhan faktor kuasa kepada faktor kuasa 0.95 mengekor. (c). Beban selalu berada pada faktor kuasa yang nilainya kurang daripada satu. Terdapat beberapa keburukan yang timbul akibat dari faktor kuasa yang terlalu rendah. Soalan / Question 2 (a). Nyatakan TIGA (3) kebaikan sistem tiga fasa. List down THREE (3) advantages of three phase system. (3 markah / marks) (b). Lakarkan rajah yang menunjukkan sambungan bintang dan sambungan delta serta labelkan voltan talian, voltan fasa, arus talian dan arus fasa. Draw an equivalent figure that show star and delta connection and labeled line voltage, phase voltage, line current and phase current for each of connection. (7 markah / marks) (c). Satu beban seimbang sambungan delta telah menerima bekalan 415 V, 50 Hz, 3 fasa. Kuasa 1 KW telah diserap oleh beban-beban ini pada faktor kuasa 0.8 mengekor. State THREE (3) methods to identify the direction of magnetic fields. (3 markah / marks) (c). Bahan yang digunakan bagi teras dalam litar magnet dalam Rajah 1 mempunyai ketelapan relatif µr =3500. Keratan rentas teras adalah sekata pada keluasan 1000 mm 2. Panjang min bagi laluan fluks adalah seperti yang ditunjukkan dalam Rajah 1. Kira ketumpatan fluks B dalam celah udara sekiranya I =20A dan N =300 pusingan. Anda boleh mengabaikan kesan pinggiran dan fluks bocor. Satu litar magnet tertutup yang diperbuat daripada keluli tuangan mengandungi laluan fluks sepanjang 6 cm dengan luas keratan rentas 1 cm 2 dan laluan fluks sepanjang 2 cm dengan luas keratan rentas 0.5 cm 2. Satu gegelung 200 lilitan dibelitkan pada bahagian panjang fluks sepanjang 6 cm dan arus yang mengalir adalah 0.4 A. Dapatkan nilai ketumpatan fluks pada laluan fluks 2 cm, sekiranya ketelapan relative keluli tuangan adalah 750. Sebuah pengubah 1 fasa, 50 kva, 4600/240 V mempunyai rintangan dan regangan berikut : R 1 = 3.50 Ω X 1 = 5.5 Ω R 2 = 0.01 Ω X 2 = 0.02 Ω Kirakan (i) Galangan senilai dirujuk ke primer dan sekunder (ii) Kehilangan kuprum dalam belitan primer dan sekunder (iii) Jumlah kehilangan kuprum semasa pengubah membekal beban terkadar pada voltan terkadar. Soalan / Question 5 (a). Apakah TIGA (3) sistem asas dalam pembinaan mesin arus terus? What is THREE (3) basic system in direct current machine construction? (3 markah / marks) (b). Mesin arus terus boleh diklasifikasikan berdasarkan kaedah ujaan belitan mesin. Kaedah ujaan medan ini dapat dibahagikan kepada EMPAT (4) kategori. Apakah EMPAT (4) kaedah tersebut, terangkan mengikut kefahaman anda. Direct current machines can be classified depends on excitation machines winding method. Dayakilas mesin arus terus pada kelajuan terkadar dengan arus angker 33 A adalah 150 Nm. Kelajuan dinaikkan dengan melemahkan fluks kepada dua per tiga dari nilai asalan dan beban dilaraskan supaya memberikan arus angker 40 A. Apakah nilai dayakilas yang dihasilkan? A direct current engine torque at controlled speed with armature current 33 A is 150 Nm. Speed had been increased by flux weakening with two over three from original value and adjusted expenses so that the armature current is 40 A. What is the value of engine torque? (6 markah / marks) (d). Satu penjana arus terus bergerak pada 30 pusingan/sesaat dan menghasilkan dge sebanyak 200 V. Kirakan kenaikan peratus yang diperlukan untuk menghasilkan 250 V pada 20 pusingan/sesaat dalam fluks per kutub. A direct current generator running at 30 rev/s generates an e.m.f of 200 V. (e). Satu angker 8 kutub mempunyai bilangan pengalir angker sebanyak 600 dan halaju putaran adalah 625 pusingan/minit. Sekiranya uratdaya/kutub adalah 20 mwb, kirakan daya gerak elektrik yang terhasil. An 8 pole, amarture has 600 conductors and is driven at 625 rev/min.
