Passport Companion iphone App How to Add a Your Visit and Your Photos to a Park You visited a park, took pictures, and now you want to add the visit and your photos of the visit to the Passport app. 1. Using the home display, tap on Find by Name, Find by Region, or Find by State to find the park you visited. Tap on the park in the list of parks to see the Park Details. 2. 3. Enter the title and description (optional) for your trip. Then tap on the calendar icon to specify a date (optional). 4. Use the calendar control to set the date, and then tap Set. When done, click Save. Passport_iPhoneApp_VisitsPhotos.docx Page 2 of 14 02/15/2016
5. IF you do NOT want to add photos, tap Park Details. To add photos, tap on + Add New Picture. 6. Tap the correct album where your photos are located. The default place is Camera Roll. Passport_iPhoneApp_VisitsPhotos.docx Page 3 of 14 02/15/2016
7. Tap on the photo you wish to add. 8. If you selected the wrong photo, tap Cancel. If you do not want to add a caption, just the photo itself, tap Save. To add a caption for the photo, tap Add a Caption. Passport_iPhoneApp_VisitsPhotos.docx Page 4 of 14 02/15/2016
9. Enter the caption for the photo and tap Done. Then tap Save. 10. Back on the visit display, you can see that your photo was added. You can continue to click Add New Picture for more photos, selecting the album, choosing the photo, adding a caption, etc., for as many photos as you want. Just repeat instructions 6, 7, 8, and 9 for as many photos you want for this visit in this park. You may add any number of visits to a park by following instructions 2, 3, 4, and 5 for each visit, and add photos to each visit. The Passport app has no limit to the number of visits and the number of photos per visit. When done adding photos and additional visits and their photos, tap on Park Details. 11. When you return to the Park Details page, you will see that the park is marked as Visited. In the bottom row, you will also see a choice for My Visits. Tapping on My Visits will show your visit. 12. After tapping on My Visits above, you see your list of visits. If you only added one visit, there will only be one showing. Tap on that visit. 14. To send a photo you added to the app, call up the photo, and tap the send symbol in the center of the bottom row. 15. Browse the sending options, which includes email, facebook, twitter, etc. In this example, Mail is being tapped. Passport_iPhoneApp_VisitsPhotos.docx Page 8 of 14 02/15/2016

How to Delete a Photo from a Visit to a Park These instructions are to delete a photo from a visit you entered into the Passport app. 1. Tap the visit with the photo. How to Delete a Visit from a Park These instructions are to delete a visit and all its accompanying photos from the Passport app. 1. Call up the list of My Visits, and tap on Edit.
