Notes for ETHEL TUTT: Mrs. Ethel Tutt Beard Obituary: The flowers discharge their bright ministry of love, elaborate their seed and die, but not until their work is done. The mighty oak retains its vigor for ages, but falls at last. The insect race fades with the leaf and dies with the dying year, their span is brief, but they have finished their work and drop into timely dissolution, thus it is with all of the tribes of animated nature. But for man, death comes in all seasons and ages. Often he sends no summons before him, but floats unseen on the breeze. Death comes with reckless footsteps to all. Thus it came to Mrs. Ethel Tutt Beard, February 10, 1977 at the University Hospital, Augusta, GA. Mrs. Beard was born in Lincoln County, Georgia to the late Mr. Joe Tutt and Mrs. Catherine Mariney Tutt. She was converted at an early age became a member of the Pleasant Grove C.M.E. Church in Lincolnton, GA. She was a faithful and dedicated member until her health failed. She was a faithful member of the Missionary Club, the Stewardesses Board, and the Gospel Aide Society. We cannot keep from wondering no matter how we try, and in our sad and troubled hearts, we keep asking why? The reason hidden somewhere in the pattern, God has planned, we must believe and trust in Him, and someday, we'll understand. Sleep on, sleep on, Ethel and take your rest, we all love you, but God loved you best. 4
