On October 14, 1910 a beautiful baby girl was born to the family of the late Earnest and Ella Blount of Lincolnton, Georgia. The new addition to the family was named Mary Dell Blount. At an early age, Mary accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and joined Pleasant Grove CME Church of Lincolnton, Georgia. She was a very active and faithful member until her health failed. Ms. Dell was the President of the Missionary and Stewardess Board. She worked as a cook for several establishments during her early life in Lincolnton, Georgia. Ms. Dell enjoyed family events, cooking big meals during holidays and singing songs. Ms. Dell was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Mr. David Tutt, Sr. To this union they were blessed with sixteen beautiful children, Jack, Betty Jo, Harvey Lee and Paul who also preceded her in death.
