Unload the carton from the trailer and take it to the customer-specified location using a two-wheeled dolly. When moving the carton, be sure to use safe lifting procedures. Be sure to bend at the knees and keep your back straight. Note: Some deliveries will require setup in an upstairs room or other location with limited access. When this is the case, it is recommended that you unpack the parts outside and carry them individually to the customer-specified location. 2. Unpack the contents of the cartons and remove all packing materials. Cut along the bottom edge of the carton. Remove all packing material. Locate the hardware packet. 3. Review the assembly instructions. Inside the carton, you will find the Owner s Manual. It will be necessary for you to follow the manufacturer s assembly instructions to be able to complete the assembly of the Sole Fitness E95 Elliptical Trainer. Do not attempt to assemble this machine without the Owner s Manual. 4. Install the incline rail assembly into the U-channel bracket of the main frame. Place the incline rail assembly into the U-channel on the main frame. Install four bolts, split washers, and star washers into the top of rail assembly. Install two bolts and two nylon nuts into the sides of the U-channel. Connect the three incline motor power lines and the 3-pin position sensor connector on the main frame to the corresponding ones on the incline rail assembly. (This is shown in Step 1.1 and 1.2 on page 8 of the Owners Manual) Be careful not to pinch or cut the wires. 5. Attach the console mast and console mast cover to the main frame. Slide console mast cover onto the mast. Pull the cable out of the top of the main frame and unravel and straighten out. Feed the cable into the bottom of the console mast and out the top. Install the mast into the receiving bracket on the main frame. Install one long hex bolt and split washer into the side of the bracket and mast. Install two short hex head bolts and curved washers into the front of the console mast. (This is shown in Step 1.2 and 1.3on page 8 in the Owner s Manual.) 6. Attach the console to the console mounting plate. Place the console next to the console mast plate, and then plug all of the connectors into the back of the console. Secure the console to the console mounting plate with four Phillips head screws. Be careful not to pinch or cut the wires. (This is shown in Step 1.4 on page 8 in the Owner s Manual.)
7. Attach the left and right handle bars. Remove foam pads from the handle bar axle but leave the rubber rings. Tuck the wires into the console mast and cover with the rubber grommets. Place a wave washer on each handle bar axle. Slide the handle bars on to the appropriate side of the axle. Attach both handle bars using two hex head bolts and flat washers. Connect the wires on the handle bars to the wires on the console mast. (This is shown in Step 2.1 through 2.4 on page 10 of the Owner s Manual.) Be careful not to pinch or cut the wires. 8. Install the front and rear handle bar covers. Place the front and rear handle bar covers over the handle bar and axle, and attach using four sheet metal screws per side. (This is shown in Step 2.4 on page 10 of the Owner s Manual.) 10. Install the inner connecting arm covers. Place the covers over the connecting arms and secure using two Phillips head screws and two sheet metal screws. (See Step 4.1 on page 12.) 13. Install the two stabilizer covers. Place the covers on the middle stabilizer bar, and attach with one Phillips head screw per side. (See Step 4.3 on page 12.) 11. Install the outer connecting arm covers. Place the covers over the inner covers and secure using two Phillips head screws and two sheet metal screws. (See Step 4.1 on page 12) 14. Install front stabilizer cover. Place the front stabilizer cover on the front stabilizer and attach using two Phillips head screws. (See Step 4.4 on page 12.) 15. Install the rear incline bar cover (cont.) Place the rear incline bar over the rear incline bar and attach it to the rail base using four Phillips head screws. 9. Connect the handle bars to the connecting arms. Align the hole in the rod end of the connecting arms with the brackets on the handle bar, and attach using a hex head bolt, flat washer and nylon nut. (This is show in Step 3 on page 11 of the Owner s Manual.) 16. Install the rear stabilizer cover. 12. Install sliding wheel covers. Place the sliding wheel covers over the wheels on the connecting arms and secure using two Phillips head screws per side. (See Step 4.2 on page 12) 15. Install the rear incline bar cover. Attach the two incline cover brackets to the incline rail assembly using four Phillips head screws. (See Step 4.5 on page 12.) Install the rear stabilizer cover on the rear stabilizer using four Phillips head screws. (This is shown in Step 4.5 on page 12 of the Owner s Manual.) (This is show in Step 4.6 on page 12 of the Owner s Manual.) 17. Install the incline rail front cover. 18. Plug the power cord into the main 19. Remove all packing materials. Place the incline frame of the elliptical trainer, and then rail front cover plug the power cord into the wall outlet. over the middle stabilizer tube, and attach with four Phillips screws. (See Step 4.7 on page 12.)
